Okay to charge unprotected bats on a Trustfire TR-001 charger?

Anyone know whether it's okay to use the Trustfire TR-001 to charge unprotected 16340s? There's nothing to say it's not but, doesn't hurt to ask.

It should work just fine. I recharge unprotected CR2's all the time in my AG-126 charger. I have to put some dimes in there to take up the excess space but it hasn't failed me yet. If someone else knows anything to the contrary, please feel free to chime in.

According to madvapes description of the TR-001....it will charge any cylindrical lithium ion battery including the 16340. There is no mention of it having to be protected or not.

That's pretty much what I've seen too. I just haven't tried it with unprotected bats.

We use them once in a while with unprotected batts with no problem.
