I don't know a thing about building or the electronic wiring on box mods, I just know how to safely use them and I hope somebody can help me figure out what is wrong with one of my box mods.
i have had my OKR t10 box mod with variable volt dial (3.7volts to around 4.9volts) and voltage display for almost 2 years and I've probably used it 20 times and always with a 1.2ohm build on it and volts set at 4.2. Recently I went to use it, after sitting for about a month, and it was like the button was going out cause I would have to wiggle the button and push in and out before it would fire but only fired 3-4 times then I stopped. So I changed the batteries, hoping that was it but was doubtful, and now I can't get it to fire with a tank on it. Without a tank the voltage display shows voltage but as soon as I screw a tank on it the display goes blank and the mod makes a slight humming noise, and yes the coils are good and read out at 1.2ohm. I don't know if it has something to do with the mosfet being fried or the chip but nothing gets hot or smokes inside and I have checked for any loose wires and for bare wires touching stuff. I don't have a clue and was hoping someone might have an idea of what is causing it so I can get it fixed. Here's a pic of the inside of my mod, if it even helps. I appreciate any help or suggestions that I receive.

I would also check the center pin on the atty... maybe it's not protruding enough..

I agree.......I see in the pic a very probable cold joint at the base of the 510, it could be a faulty atty also though. That huge solder blob has to go. I suggest getting a varitube spring loaded 510 and installing it. Your atty is trying to fire so the board is still good.
