Old Diamond Series Battery - Uses?

Hey folks,

I have an old diamond series battery that I bought when they first came out that no longer works at all.

My guess is that I've adjusted the center post too many times.

Do any of you have suggestions on how I can use this? I've been trying to pop off the cap to put on one of my XL batteries, but can't seem to get it off.

Three_sixteen (it's sir correct?) sadly haven't been able to get the gem off the batt without destroying the metal ring around it....

Have not tried to take one apart yet. BUt if they are held together with a lock tit compund. Heat will be your best bet around 600 degrees.
