In retrospect I wish I'd done just a little more research and seen that the 30w was upgraded in a few of the 20w complaint spots and remained the same size other then tiny little protrusion at the top so tanks look flush.

Very Pleased with K-1's but I would like to try a new sub ohm tank just to have as a back up. I'm thinking of trying the UWELL Crown. Hit it a few times in a vape shop and liked it a lot. Wondering more what people thought of the crown than in other suggestions, but I welcome suggestions too.

This Mad Hatter --I <3 Cookies is a bit more complex than their --I <3 Donuts-- but I'd have to say it's doing real well in my subtank mini .5 ohm running between 22.5 and 28.5 watts. It's a delicious cookie with a splash of milk (I had been worried about this supposed splash of milk in the cookies as most milks and creams are code word for CUSTARDS and for whatever reason any and all custard blends just gross me out) but this splash is like a real and cleverly done splash of milk to go with a bite of a real solid cookie. I'm not raving about this juice, but it's pretty tasty.

Has anyone ever tried a juice called Tribute?

Not actually familiar with every new brand of ejuice coming out. Sorry! But as for going sub ohm and still being able to run some of those older eGo style tanks as well as at lower wattages the model you should have gone with would be the 50w iStick with the 4400mah battery!

You can run anything you want on those and still see a phenomenal battery time in contrast to other mods. The fire button is much better. The 510 contact is stainless and spring loaded to eliminate the stripping out issue while one new tank ordered recently has a rough spot about half way in. And at this time you can one of those for about $40 even less at a few places having sales lately.

The 20w is still good with the smaller wattage tanks like the Nautilus(maxes about 18w) and the Nautilus Mini, Viva Nova, Smok Tumbler with eGo adapter, and some others. For subs I pass on anything Kanger but still haven't looked at the UCrown tanks as well as tried out the latest Horizon Artic V8 model. The 50w iStick however is the nice go between from lower end vaping and the high end 100 and 100+w deals to consider and still by the same brand. How about only $35 for a deal? Eleaf iSmoka iStick 50W 4400mAh 0.2ohm Mod

Have three of those here and found them to be reliable having tried out various tanks. Even went for belt clips so I could always keep one on my while out on the go! This would be one thought for an upgrade. I also found I prefer the straight 50w model over the 40w with TC!

Spent all weekend with the new goodies. Pretty pleased. I have been trying to find a video that shows how to rebuild the Aspire BVC coils. But all I can find are how to rebuild the BDC coils and how to rebuild the Nautilus BVC. I want to rebuild my mini version of the BVC that have nothing to do with nautilus or atlantis tanks. If any of you guys know where I can find a video like that I would really appreciate that.

The coils I use are only about $7 for a 5 pack but when I'm running low I have to order them online then pay shipping. Would be a lot easier to build my own out of the dead heads. I'm getting great flavor out of the Aspire Mini BVC (not for nautilus or atlantis tanks) at 1.8 ohm and around 8-11 watts. But I'd really like to get some wire and cotton so I don't have to order a new 5 pack everyweek.

YouTube! is loaded with all sorts of videos for just about anything vaping or otherwise! Most at this time however would be looking at some of the newer tanks being seen with the option for premade colils while proving the RDA type insert where you rebuild the coil on the spot. I think something more along those lines would likely be the better option. Then you can take advantage of the newer DVC type. The tanks themselves often provide better air flow as well as the increase by design for better vapor output.

Actually the fear of higher wattages of only being for cloud making is long held "Misconception" of the actual facts. I can have a tank running at 30-40w and depending on the juide in the tank have to crank the air flow wide open in order to get more vapor out of it. Yet the next flavor will be run at 20w with the air flow openings closed up and put out more vapor and both will still be 70PG/30VG!

While I still use a few Nautilus 5ml at 13-15w and maybe a SMOK Tumbler at 7-8w on an iTaste VV v3.0 still in use once the sub ohm tanks were available that brought a vast improvement overall as far as the vaping experience goes without "Cloud Chasing" at the same time!

5 watts doesn't burn anything! Turning the watts up above the max on some of the older style tanks seeing the 8-10w max will however! Once you go too high with anything you can end up getting the dry wick issue especially with the old single and DC type coils you had to keep swapping out practically daily! The newer tanks now being seen have coils that can actually last weeks depending on your personal vaping habits, how many devices you own and end up swapping back and forth in between, etc.

As for people stripping the threading out and the fire button rattle being the two main complaints for the 20w model as well as the smaller 10w to come later a lot of that was carelessness rather then patience being observed by rough handling tanks and try to force the tanks on! The threading was flimsy aluminum being eLeaf's biggie there and later corrected with stainless but with care the pair of 20Ws are still in top shape here. Even the new 40w TC model sees a push in round shaped button with play there! Yet the 50w is the champ out of them other then the two new 60w and 100w models. What gets you there is right after seeing the two sizes you then see the 60w TC and 100w TC models out shortly after everyone has already jumped on the band wagon for the first two!:blink::-x
