HI EVERYBODY! (said in dr Ned voice from the simpsons)

I figure its time to stop the creepin and gets to the speaking. Ive been vaping since 2012. I started with the ego and some juicy clear juice that a friend hooked me up with, then the ego twist and that was good but a pita due to the fact I had to have a spare one in the pocket to get me thru the day. managed to quit analogs for a while but slowly went back to it. bought a vamo 2 (I think) she was good right up till the point where the 510 threads stripped out of 'er...Bought a MVP when they were fairly new and really enjoyed the increased batt life. Now im rocking the mvp as well as an Orange REo grande low profile, super light (awesome) and a Reo mini 2.1 Im really enjoying the reo's and their vapor production and battery life.

im a dual user, but im trying to rid myself of the stinkies. I used to smoke a pack to a pack and a half a day. Now its just occasionally that I will have a chokey. I hope to rid my self of them in 2015.

Hi and welcome to ECF!

I, too am a dual user hoping that 2015 is my last year on the cigs. So far, after ~40 years of 1.5 packs a day, I'm down to 4-5 a day. That's (IMHO) a victory in itself.

Remember, every cigarette you don't smoke is a win, and it's the ones you DON't smoke that count.

I've read many stories here that indicate that folks don't quit right away, but do so eventually, so don't sweat it - you and I will get there :)

In the meantime, Happy Vaping

Welcome QuikDraw -- what he said is true; a lot of us don't quit right away, but if that's what you really want, then eCigs make it not only possible but fun and enjoyable too. When I got here in Jan '14, I said I wanted to be quit smoking by the end of the year -- and I actually managed it by the end of February! Had a surprise appendectomy after being smoke-free for a bit over 3.5 months, and some surprise cravings afterward that got me back to smoking for a month, but thanks to e-cigs I managed to lay down the coffin nails a 2nd time in July, and have left them alone for 5 months now quite happily -- but this 2nd time, I did require the assistance of WTA; that stuff is amazing.

Just hang in there with vaping. Pressure is counterproductive; you'll get there because you want to.

ACK! - I forgot about the WTA - yes, that stuff IS amazing! - I use it when the cravings get severe, that way, I'm not tempted to go over my "daily quota" - works like a charm.

You can get it here Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice, and they have some really good flavors.

Thanks, AndriaD

I was getting it from wholecig for a while, but the last I ordered, which should be here tomorrow, it hit Atlanta at 11:37pm, is from mothersmilkwta.com.

I vape it in everything I vape; up till recently I mixed it into my ejuice at 10% (the 25mg unflavored from WholeCig), but now I'm starting a slow decrease, and mixed the last at 9%, and I'll stay there for a month before I try to go to 8%, though I might stick at 9% for another month because the MMWTA is just 24mg. I figure a slow withdrawal has to be a lot easier to deal with than abruptly.

No, it happens from time to time. They've done various things to the software over time, and after the last one, it did that to me.

to ecf QuikDrawMcGraw. So glad you decided to join in because you have been missing the best part. . . the people here. Everyone makes their own choice as to when it is time to say goodbye to cigarettes. You'll know when it is right. Not only is ecf the most reliable place to find information about vaping, it is also a huge support group full of people that really care. Vaping is the only thing that ever helped me. Love my reos also and have been quite spoiled by them. Good luck to you and I know this year is going to be a good one for you. Look forward to reading more about you and your journey. Have fun and happy vaping to you.
