Hello!
So i'm almost abit ashamed to admit i've used my batteries for this long! However they've been just fine.
So i've been using a pair, that's right just 2 of em. For slightly 3 years now.
Sony VTC4s they've all been charging up nicely to 4.2 and been holdin the charge.
However as of recently i've noticed a huge dropoff. They barely last 4 hours on my mech with a ~ 15w setup. So i guess it's time to grab some new batts
Now to the actual question, has there come out any new batteries out there that outlast vtc4s in terms of safety and high cdr ratings? I'd prefer to buy some new whilst keeping 20-30 amp limits. Most of em i've seen is just 10-15A it seems, atleast locally. (Sweden)
I also saw that apparently sony does not make vtc4s anymore, however i keep seeing alot of vendors still keeps them in stock which makes me wonder.
Most of the vendors here in sweden says they're legit but i'm not realy sure. One company replied that they bought them from efest due efest bought up all remaining sony vtc4s. But i don't realy trust efest so...
I did see that there is now vtc 6 but only 15 amps...
Which kind of batteries should i invest in?
The biggest reason i want higher amps is due i occasionally use my drippers at lower ohms and i like to keep the safety up. But i'm mainly a tootle puffer/mod womber or W/e u wanna call it
I've been out of the loop for awhile due being content with my setup.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: As a final note i'd like to add that i've a good charger and i always check my batteries with my mulitmeter, that's how i know my batteries has been fine over all these years. However it amazes me how long they've lasted compared to ppl i've read around here.
