V1 here, no V2 upgrade and it's pushing three years old, maybe older. I think the bloke I bought it from ordered it in the first pre-order run, but can't confirm. Used daily.

He sold it because he had two others. :D

Edit: at the time of the sale last February, he said it was about two years old, if he was being exact, it would put it within 3 months of the V1 ProVari's release. (If I have my dates correct).

How old is your V1?

I wish I knew but maybe someone here can shed more light on to it.I bought her used and I will never forgive the idiot I bought her from for throwing her in to a cardboard envelope without any protection, that didin't help the chrome finish one bit.
It has to be one of the blemished units that either didn't take the logo at all or only very thin because the ProVari logo is gone.

I wish
My v2 bought feb 2012 crapped the other day and is on its way back to Provape to see what the cost of needed repairs might be.
It was going into menu randomly while just vapeing, intermittent fireing etc.
Other then about a 3mth stint which I was using a Segeli until its demise the Provari has been my everyday day vape, Guess I should have purchased the extended warranty.
Luckily I have enjoyed my v2 so much that about 2-3mths ago I purchased a Provari v2.5 which has been waiting to get used and has now been unpackaged.

You've kept a V2.5 in a package for months  ?

Yes
I can only vape one at a time and the v2 was still working fine so no reason to break out the new one.
And as a matter of fact I would have been just as happy to leave the 2.5 in the package and have the 2.0 still working.

:vapor: You make a very good point. Still, I am impressed. Then again....I was the aunt that had lots of cool collectible toys in the packaging. All it took was a few sad looks, and guess what? Nieces and nephews were playing with some rare toys (out of the package) Sorry about your v2.0 that does suck.

I'd love to know who it was? :)
