So I picked up a new Omega and have been using it for a couple days. I love it. Theres just something about that mechanical switch that I like. However, when I attempted to fire a shorted out 306DCA setup (wasn't aware at the time) smoke started coming out of the bottom vent holes. I unscrewed the cap, dumped the cell on the floor and kicked it under the desk in a Jackie Chan type fashion. Removed the DCA, put in a new cell, put the cap on. No good. Hotspring collapsed. Stretched out the hotspring, put it back together and it fired but wouldnt stop. Disassembled the mechanical switch and low and behold, another hotspring! The placement of this hotspring makes no sence to me. If this hotspring activates and the much larger cell spring doesn't, it will collapse the mechanical switch and fire the mod.Can someone can tell me the reason behind the second hotspring? I'm just not getting it.
