I am having problems with my omega. I thought it might of been the batteries or my atomizer's or cartomizer's but its the omega. I got a new 5 pack of 510 carts and not a single one worked with my omega. Most of my cartomizer's & atomizer's don't even work on it. But the same cartomizer's & atomizer's will work on my 510. It doesn't seem to fire up all of the time. And i have just about had it with all the trashing. I wish now that i would of bought a BSB instead. I am just not as happy with my omega as i was the first couple of weeks. It seems to be more for show (If you don't touch it) than it does for being a dependable PV.

I had this same issue on my silver bullet. Some brands of atties work and others don't.

I don't know what to say about this. I have not heard anything from you about your issues. I am sorry you feel this way about your OMEGA. The OMEGA is not just for show, it is a mechanical device that will last you a lifetime. In the video there is a point that tells you how to adjust the contact. It has a floating contact pin to enable it to work with Any atomizer. I will assume you did not watch the video, so I will explain here.
Step 1.
Remove atomizer
Step 2.
Remove battery cup
Step 3.
Squeeze the switch assembly
Step 4.
Using your thumb push the center pin towards the atomizer connection, it will move ever so slightly.

Another note, the OMEGA was designed for the 18650. CR123 batteries are smaller and will shift from center. This is why it will fire after a light spanking. If you insist on using these batteries, make a sleeve out of cardboard or something to keep the batteries on center.

This cracks me up,

The "OMEGA" not only works but works with any darn Atty they make as well as any cartomizer made to date. This unit is the classiest and most multi functional unit alive with the best darn switch on the market. For people that are having problems refer to some threads, "READ" do your homework and some due diligence before anyone just complains about something. The maker of this unit is on his game and has out & out a fantastic product here for all of us to enjoy, Cddz has hands down some of the best personalized customer service I have seen in this industry and goes leaps and bounds further than anyone to help out someone that may be struggling with an issue and will fix the problem in a flash, I tip my hat to you Cddz for not only your awesome creation of mods but your kindness and cooperation with customer service !

Had the same issue as the OP with my Omega but it had nothing to do with the mechanics. It was my fault, I was over zealous in screwing in my carto and I pushed the pin too far down. Relax and follow Chad's instructions, and you'll see that your Omega isn't broken or defective.

Chad told me to do exactly what he wrote above, I did and in less than 5 seconds my Omega was performing beautifully again. It was a super easy fix for me, and I've got to be most mechanically challenged person in the world.

The Omega is not only beautiful, but it's tough too. Most issues are user caused, and the great thing about the Omega it is VERY easy for the user to correct the problem. :)

Hey Chad...is there any chance you will be making that Omega maintenance page on Altsmoke? As I have said before, I can only use dial up where I live and I tried to watch your video but after an hour downloading and less than 1/4 of the video I gave up! I just cannot get a youtube video to play for me, I've tried before.

I was just vaping on it and it was working fine. I sat it down for a while and tried vaping on again and it doesn't work. So i taped it against my hand and it works again.

Did you say what batteries you are using? I use the Tenergy CR123a's and they are a good bit smaller in diameter than your standard 18650. I've never had a problem with the positive cap being off center but depending on the size of the battery button top I could see where that might be the problem. If tapping it against your hand fixes the problem it might indicate a battery contact problem?

Chad gave me the omega rundown about the adjustable pin when I had e-mailed him about a battery question. I have never had a problem with my Omega, it totally rocks.

If I ever have a problem with a mod I read the threads or write to the manufacturer to solve a problem.

Don't bash something when it is a "USER ERROR" situation! It makes you look bad.
