So I was about to give up on rba but I finally know what you guys are talking about!
I went from a IGO-L to a Nemesis and now to a simple smoktek mini rba. Man this thing is awesome! amazing flavor and smoke.

Now what size Silica should I buy for a dual coil build? and what size kanthal?

Ditch the silica for better tasting/wicking cotton. You'll find more info in the link provided above. Happy vaping!

Any 2 or 3 mm silica works, try different builds to see what's better for you. In regards to the kanthal, 30 or 32, but get an ohm meter!!! You're just starting, so there's no need to go below 1 ohm, you'll get a great vape.

And, as stated above, cotton with micro coils is great, but try everything and decide by yourself.

I like silica in larger diameter coils, cotton in smaller. I use 3mm of unfolded hollow ekowool, and I just use unraveled cotton balls for everything else.

Gotcha, now I am looking into a better second RBA or Genesis.
Anyone have some recommendations?

I started with an aga t+. Not a bad starting point for a genesis set up. I just switched to a micro coil with cotton on mine, awesome flavor and vapor.
The new aga t3 looks nice but I'm not sure if it's easily available yet. My current favorite is a terminator with 3mil silica, its great for around town because it doesn't leak and takes almost no fiddling.
Got a kayfun clone on the way, everyone seem to like the kayfun.
Lots of options with rebuildables, get ready to spend some money!
