OMG I'd rather vape the cat's liter box than try that again....

Share with us your worst vape experience, be it a flavor, a device, a location, or what have you.

Tell us about that time you got drunk and thought it would be a good idea to try a DIY mix of banana , hazelnut, bacon, menthol.

Where is the weirdest place you've vaped?

Remember when you put the batteries upside down in your first attempt to build your own mod and set your purse on fire?

C'mon I know you got a story to tell, share it with us.

P.S. Not trying to start a bash thread so naming flavors is fine, but please don't hate or the juice mixers whether individuals or companies. (Unless it's something you mixed yourself, then feel free to bash away:p)

I don't have any good stories. There's only one liquid that completely horrified me, and it was a tobacco e-liquid that smelled like rancid soy sauce.

Weirdest place I have vaped - probably the shower, but I used to smoke in the shower as well. I'm just weird in general. I don't vape in the shower anymore; it was just an old habit of mine. Running late in the morning meant multitasking and trying desperately not to get my first cig of the day wet while shampooing.

I have no fire stories, thank God.

When I first started DIY I thought, "How about a menthol cherry??"

Yeah, um, Robitussin cough drops flavored e-liquid is not yummy, mkay.

Another faux pas would be drivn' along, all cool and stuff with my elbow resting on the armrest and go to take a puff off the PV and BAM... pothole... damn-near chipped a tooth.

Last, I must admit... I ordered Crab Juice. It's not good. Not good at all. I still have 9.75ml of the 10ml bottle.

There was one time years ago when I first started vaping, I flooded my atty and it wasn't firing. Instead of cleaning/blowing it out I held it up close to my eye to check if the coil was even getting hot and it sputtered right in my eye. I took a DIRECT JUICE HIT RIGHT TO THE EYEBALL!!!! I didn't vape for like 3 days after....

When i got my first Phoenix, I had no clue what i was doing and vaped it bone dry. The next drag i took, the wick actually light on fire. I could have used it to light the fire place. As far as flavors go...I went into the shop around my place recently and was trying flavors. The girl who works there knows me pretty well and what I like. Well she put a few drops of something she thought I would like into a carto and I took a drag. It tasted like burnt hair mixed with a wet fart. I thought maybe the atty was bad so she swapped it out for me. Well, at that point another guest was asking me about my Terminator C tank and I wasn't paying attention. I took a drag and coughed all over the guest standing next to me. It turns out the first atty was fine and the juice was just not good. Oops! Sorry guy!

Once upon a time, about 2 months into vapeland... I was trying to rebuild stardust's, it looked so easy on the interwebs! I neglected to check the ohms before trying it out, dumb. Ego protection circuit worked perfect! The battery died. Now, being so super smart, I was going to salvage the battery. I mean, it would alot cheaper for Joye to use standard batteries in this thing right? So, I pulled it apart to remove what I thought would be a nice batt to use for building a mod or something. It was however wrapped in foil! So odd, I thought, must be some extra protection. Using my trusty 12 ga needle, I cut the foil to get the battery out. Sparks and explosions of battery acid promptly covered my table, melting the tip off of the needle.

End of the story, Joye makes their own battery cells and I make life threatening messes.

I smoked analogs & cigars since I was fourteen (I'm 64), and I do a lot of driving. Always had a cig or cigar going while on the road.
Not long after I started vaping, I was driving back from Virginia to Florida happily vaping away the miles when my phone rang, I unconsciously grabbed the phone & tossed my brand-new Inferno right out the window (@ 75MPH)! Watched it bounce & shatter down route 95 in my rear-view mirror......

Not a good day....:glare:

Lol menthol cherry, wow that would be bad (just thinking about the taste of Robitussin makes me feel sick lol).

I like sweet flavors and tobacco flavors, but there was one tobacco flavor (just plain tobacco, supposedly) I ordered that was so putrid I can't even describe it. I had the smell lingering on my clothes, hands, everywhere and I couldn't get away from it. I took 2 showers and washed my clothes and the smell remained for at least another day. I am not sure what was in that juice, but it made it to the garbage almost as quick as I stopped vaping it.

I can relate to this... however I didnt lose any gear fortunately. I drove for work all day and while I wouldnt throw ciggie butts out the window, but I always flicked my ashes out the window. When I started vaping I would often find myself hanging my e-cig out the window trying to flick an ash off it. I did go through a spell of dropping my cig a like in stores or in parking lots and panicking when I discovered one missing. Having to retrace steps through a Sears. Driving around the parking lot and discovering one on the ground right after I drove over it. (Still worked!) Used to be if I dropped an analog so what!?

Everyone probably has their "worst liquids" ever story - the one place you found liquids to be totally unvapable. I'm a lame vaper - I'll vape amost anything. Until I ran across "that place" I ordered 6 samples from. The one with lemon had so much flavoring it was enough to make your eyes cross. Another had chocolate in it - and all sorts of what I could only call "desbris" that kept settling to the bottom of the bottle - while the rest of what was in it kept separating no matter how much you shook it. The other four flavors ranged from fake to overwhelming. I know this is all somewhat subjective but this is the only stuff I ever bought that I wouldn't even give away. (No one deserves that.)

I just checked to see if there were even still in business. Much to my surprise they are. (Yeah, it was that bad...)

I'd have to say the two worst experiences with the vape lifestyle was today. One of my good friends got a brand new juice in today called Summer Blues. It's suppose to be a mixture of blueberry and lemonade. As soon as we smelled it, the overwhelming stench of fruity Pine-Sol filled the air. My friend is still going to try it, but only because he loves blueberries. Three minutes later, another friend told me to smell his tobacco juice. Sure, I thought to myself, it cant be as bad as the Pine-Sol scented e-liquid. The next thing I remember was nearly gagging at how horrid, and terrifying, this juice smelled like. To put a description some kind of description on it, think of what the ten-week-old, solid green, moldy bread smells like, mixed with the stench of gym clothes that haven't been washed in months. This was 8 hours ago and I still can't get that stench out of my nose.

As a side note, that tobacco juice arrived in the mail for my friend about a week ago.
