So I just worked from 12pm until 2 am, and smoked about 16 analogs (thats a lot for me for a day). I smoked my LAST one out of my pack on the way home and thought to myself, "If I need a pack i'll get it tomorrow". I get home, checked my email, and my T-REX and Nuport/Newbay came in! I ran and checked the mail of course :). After some fiddling around I figured out how to add the e-juice. Took four rips from this thing and I CHOKED! I didn't expect that being a full menthol smoker! Four hits and i'm completely satisfied like I just smoked a whole one. A little something comes to mind that someone said to me when I first joined "Welcome to vaping Haze"..... They weren't kidding! So now comes the annoying newbie questions, I put 10 drops give or take, how many hits should I expect? Also I have 70 ML of the juice, how long should that last? Man I still can't get over this!

EDIT: Spelling :)

Congrats on your first vape. Got my ego-t after I had just bought 2 packs of Marlboro Menthols. Smoked one pack and then decided to quit and start vaping. Never looked back and better for it.

Anyways, what are you using. A cartomizer or atomizer? That will give me the info I need to answer your question. How long your juice will last will depend on how much you find yourself vaping in a day. Until you find out the answer then it's unknown how long 70ml will last you.

Congrats on your first vaping experience! Pretty crazy huh? Its weird not smoking :)

Whered ya get the nuport/newbay?

Sounds good :)

Thanks bud! Nuport Liquid I think I remember you asking me that previously; I did respond but I guess you missed it! It's a good juice I suppose I don't have any other juice experience to compare it to. Oh and the links for 10ml bottles they also sell 30.

10 drops is nearly not enough for a cartomizer. What brand and sized cartomizer are you using? A standard sized carto should be filled with 25 drops and has to rest for 20 minutes before it is vaped. This will let the juice seep throughout the cartomizer for it to wick properly.

Drip alongside of the filler material in 5 drop increments and let it rest for a minute or so before adding anymore. When it reaches 25 drops then stop filling. An XL carto should be filled with 45 drops.

Cartomizer: It has a coil, wire, and air tube in the middle with filler material surrounding it. Encased in an aluminum body.

Atomizer: Has a coil wrapped around the wicking material inside of a ceramic cup. Surrounded by mesh. Located on the bottom of the atomizer that is also encased in an aluminum body/tube.

At the moment I have a cartomizer (LR 1.5 ohm) installed, I did purchase an atomizer also to give it a try. Whats the difference between the two any how?

Cartomizers will generally hold up toast mil or so of juice and can be gaped for a lot longer before needing a refill. An atomizer was originally intended to heat up a cartridge...but honestly cartridges are a big waste of time. Look up how to details wick and details bridge your atomizer on YouTube, pop 4-5 drops of liquid in, put a drip tip on top and go to town. If you start seeing the taste drop off or get a burnt metallic taste add 2 more drops of juice and repeat.

I personally prefer cartomizers because they last longer, leak wayyyyyy less, and taste better...that's right you heard it here...I am the only crazy person who thinks cartos do taste better than direct dripping lol.

But anyway...try the atomizer out. Some people are atomizer people some are cartomizer people. It Coles down to how much you and enjoy either one and given enough time you will either order 50 cartomizers or 20 spare Patty's...then 2 new mods(one as a back up and one to back up your back up), and easily 2 years supply of juice.

Don't fight it...just embrace it :)

Good luck and congrats

Thanks very helpful! "Drip alongside the filler material" Hmm?? You're not talking about the part where you put your mouth?

No...if you take the white cap off of the cargo you will see white cotton like material. When first filling use the cargo condom method(shown in video above). To top it off take the white cap off with a paperclip or whatever else you can fit in the hole, drip 4-8 drops(or until it looks slushy) juice around the edge into the filler(try to not get juice in the middle where the hhole is...no big deal if you do, pop the white cap(or drip tip)back on and vape away.

If you don't have any I hi@holybanana reccomend picking up some 510 drip tips. My favorites are the nickel plated ones from www.vaporgalaxy.com. wayyyy more comfortable than putting your lips around the edge of a cartomizer and they will allow you to drip into your atomizer.

I think he is.

Remove the soft rubber mouth piece and drip from the bottle down the walls of the cartomizer, slowly, untill the filler will not accept any more eliquid. Follow Washvap's instructions and look at his pictures.

1.5Ω cartomizer is rather dangerous, as is runs very hot and you risk burning the filler in no time flat if you're not careful. Make sure you keep the carto wet at all times, and order some higher resistance ones, like Boge LR (2.0Ω). Unless, of course, you ordered some dual coil cartos; those are a different animal altogether, as you're dealing with two 3.0Ω heating coils in parallel.

What cartos are you using? Brand? Capacity?

Smoktech 510 LR 1.5 ohm and the XL's, and a IKV 510 LR Atomizer 1.8 ohm. I got the low res because it was recommended!

And thanks Sandy! What do you puff on now?
