Omg ! Terminal Shiny-itis !

So many have used vaping to defeat extreme long term nicotine addition ! Kudos !!! .... I am nic free since December 6th of 2014 . Now to begin a long uphill fight against shiny-itis which I'm beginning to believe is a lot worse ... at least we all didn't buy endless and varied packs of cigarettes because of the extremely interesting colors, buttons, and power of the damn package ..... The sane half of my brain keeps saying to just see the istick 100 watter and the Siglei 150 as low cost replacements if and when my 2 current istick 100s meet their maker ..... I keep assuring myself that since I only use factory made sub ohm atomizers/clearos, there is simply no need to own or buy anything over 100 watts ..... Oh but mommy they are sooo glassy, stainless-y, shapely, colorful, and snow wolfy !!!! (I'm losing it )

I have that same problem. But I've been behaving myself lately I'm keep 30w for almost two months now that a record for me I been through ego one , istick mini, and 30w.

I know how you feel... Just today, I struggled not to buy new gear but kept going back to the vendor website. Alas, the urge got the better of me. So now, 3 mech mods, 2 RDAs, 4 batts, 3 spools of kanthal, a coil jig, and an iStick 60TC are making its way to me... it... never... ends!

It's really crazy as I have had plenty of hobbies through a lifetime and with the exception of fishing gee gaws nothing has equaled this level of spontaneous purchasing ....

Both, but I never really intended to stop vaping with liquid nic, it just happened over the first 6 months ... After understanding the carrier and not the nic is the problem with analogs , I intended to be a nic user but I kept diluting 32 mgs into larger and larger volumes of VG and at a quart and a half of VG mixed with 2 small bottles of nic it simply wasn't an urge any longer ....... What also helped me to just use straight VG was that I have 100 % anosmia and only my taste buds function not the airborne flavor so I vape only for the tactile need.

I'm gonna be one of the enablers here and tell you I'm preordering a Reuleaux DNA200 by JayBo designs & Wismec. It's a triple 18650 in series mod & it's so purrty. But then again most of my spending goes to shiny authentic mechs & my only high wattage regulated mod is my year old sigelei 100w. So I'm getting it to add a TC mod to my collection . Here's a pic if you haven't seen it...

I've been vaping almost a year in a week. In that time I've owned a total of 12 mods and 12 tanks. LOL yes, I just realized, I average a new set up every month. You could say I've fallen victim to shinyitis on more than once occasion! However, I've sold and traded many of mine so currently I've actually got 4 mods and 6 tanks. I haven't been as bad lately but I have had limited funds as well as I'm happy overall with what I have, nothing new tempts me real greatly other than that TFV4. I may have to get one of those at some point lol.
