For lunch I went to the same place I always go, Got the same meal I always get, Cooked by the same cook who always cooks it, served by the same waitress who always serves it.
Took one Bite and
:?:
almost Gaged!!! WTF
The beef tasted like eating dried flesh and the bacon was as if someone had just emptied a salt shaker into my mouth
:?:
The look on my face must have been something as the waitress ran over and asked if i was ok as my hubby also asked. All i could say was Nooooooooo!
:?:
My hubby then said Food taste bad? I said Yah WTF
While downing a glass of tea to try and make the salt go away
so he told the waitress everything was ok ! Nooooooooo it was not
my hubby took a taste and said the food taste as it always does I am just getting my taste buds back!
:?: :( :?:
Ok so If beef has always tasted like eating Flesh
and Bacon was always this salty
( Never want those in my mouth again )
Are there any other foods That I should avoid?
And is this taste thing going to change again?
:(

I think I am getting new taste buds too. It is really weird food seems to have so much flavor now it is almost overpowering. I am on day 4 of 100% analog free after cutting down to average of 1-3 a day for 2 months while vaping. Smells are kinda the same I can smell cig smoke from like a 100-200 ft away if it's blowing my way it seems.

Do yourself a favor and avoid fast food for a while. When you can actually *taste* it, you understand why it's called "junk food".

But yes, it'll 'settle down' eventually. I'll tell ya though... 3 weeks in, I made the mistake of getting a "Double Down" from KFC and I swear I almost puked.

I had a cheeseburger at McDonald's about a month after I started vaping, and all I could taste was grease.

Watch out for spicy! I ordered 3mile high wings this week and couldn't eat them! I have been eating hot stuff forever but now without the protection of Tar on my buds WOW! Hot stuff!

That's good to know because even with dull taste buds from 21 years of analogs, I can't handle spicy foods and people think I'm a wimp. This is my first day of mostly vaping and I'm hoping it'll be my last day of having an analog. In a few days I'm really going to be a wimp about spicy foods.

Totally Wicked makes a juice called "Diablo Loco". Great for practical jokes. 500,000 on the skoville scale. "Diablo Poco" clocks in at 5,000... you might wanna try it.

Totally Wicked's Decadent Vapours (Red Line)

Their description of the "Loco" variety:

"Pain in a bottle! This is an insanely hot (the concentrate measures approx. 500,000 SHU on the Scoville Heat Scale - that's 1-200x hotter than tabasco sauce!) juice condiment, made using Naga jolokia chillis - officially the hottest in the world - and designed for spicing up other juices. If a single drop is too hot for you, dilute it to 1-10% with PG, VG or PEG-400 to make a stock solution, and use that. Unless you're the kind of person who thinks a good night out isn't complete without being "maced" with police pepper spray at some point in the evening, you really do not want to even contemplate mixing this up the same strength as a normal flavoured juice - you have been warned! :)"

Yeah welcome to actually being able to taste the crappy places you use to eat at stop eating at those places and find new ones I'm sure its not the type of food but the poor quality and how its prepared best way to find out is to fix it your self and see if you still dont like it.

I see you are in Cleveland does ( The Big Egg ring any bells )

Yup I had some hot salsa last night. Normally I would plow through a whole bag of chips and the entire jar. I had a smal bowl then I was eating bread and guzzling milk to put the flames. I think I might have to switch to medium or mild.
