OK, so I am super excited right now! My Wizard Labs order came in today, and I just finished mixing my first batch of juice. I made a 10mL bottle with the following specs:
8mg, 70PG/30VG
Flavoring: 6 drops Marboro tobacco, 4 drops Brown sugar

I knew as soon as I smelled the M-Type it was what I wanted because it smelled exactly like the base Rawr uses in Poison and the juice tastes VERY similar. It steeped about 30 seconds before trying and it was already amazing! Now that I know I really can make great vapeable juices, I think I am going to really work on my DIY skills! Ahhhh I am so excited right now!

Forgot to mention, I also used 2 very tiny drops of sucralose as well in it. Really polished off the flavor nicely. One drop may have been better but it still tastes great. Tomorrow i'm going to make a big batch of this after trying it some more to hide away to steep. I would be extremly shocked if M-type isn't exactly what they use in their Poison. It's absolutely amazing!

I think I may have even used a bit too much of the M-type on this. I'm going to dilute it down a bit with some more 70/30, 8mg flavorless here in a bit. I'm also super excited to mix up some honeysuckle juice because the flavoring smells fantastic!

Oh yeah I know, I just wanted to try it. I smelled the flavoring and it smelled EXACTLY like Poison so I just had to try it. I already put up that and the double RY4 I mixed up. Wednesday when i'm off work i'm going to mix up a whole crapload of stuff and let it steep. I'm already back to my Hot Vapes 555. It actually wasn't bad flavorwise, but like you said it was far too strong to vape for more than a few drags. I can tell it's going to be outstanding when it's fully steeped though. Rawr must use something different though because Poison is vapable fresh and this is definitely not.

I wonder if I made a pure ethyl maltol(obviously not just ethyl, I mean no other flavors) if it would be able to vape soon? I want to make a cotton candy esque juice with that and it doesn't seem like it would need to steep that long. Also honeysuckle seems like it could be vapeable after just a few days too but I didn't mix any up, just smelled the flavoring.

Edit: I really hope that Poison type flavor doesn't fade away into a completely different tobacco flavor in a month, does M-Type change it's flavor profile that much?

I also wonder if somebody could point me in the direction of a good pipe tobacco flavor. The flavorings I got from Wizard are obviously the Marlboro(M-Type), 555/DK-type, Tobacco Absolute, Tobacco, Flue Cured, Virginia Fire-Cured(SM), Light brand(SM), and brown sugar which seems to greatly help a lot of tobaccos from what i've read. Any suggestions guys and gals?

I find all of the Tobaccos that you mentioned are very strong. I use them at 1% or less.

Tobacco Absolute is extremely potent.

So i've now mixed up the "Poison clone", the double RY4, sweet raspberry w/ ethyl maltol, and honeysuckle. The honeysuckle is very delicious, even without steeping so i'm sure it will be excellent in a week or two. I'm debating on putting a drop or 2 of a tobacco in it, as i've been wanting to try honeysuckle tobacco after seeing it so many times on CoV.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I also mixed up a 10mL batch of no-nic Cinnamon Danish which is probably the best one i've made, pre-steeping wise at least. It's very good and I could see myself vaping quite a bit of this stuff. Wow DIY is too much fun!

I'm going to try and make this one now but only use 3 drops mboro...I have 150 ml of different juices I tried making and they all have a peppery taste to them so I'm throwing them all away and starting over I think it might b the vg I was using I got it from Walmart...or many I just really suck at this but I gotta do something I got way to much DIY supplies....I need a few good tobacco recipes so I can make a few up and let steep...Wat % do u use the right banana at ...I made some the other day before work and just throw it together it tasted great now when I make it it tastes nasty ...I have a few fruity flavors but can't make them taste right I really suck at this

The only time I got a peppery taste was when I used too much mboro in a mix. It started out tasting good but after a week it developed a strong peppery taste and it was unvapable.

I have been using the vg from Walmart since I started diy and have never had an issue with it.

That M type smells like hell, but not so bad vaped. I have a mix of it I made steeped about 2 weeks now, gonna let it sit awhile longer. Sure is stinking up my vape box though ugh.

yes, m-type changes its flavor after steeping for about a month... and i hear its a great flavor..
honeysuckle will crack your tank.... be careful... honeysuckle and tobacco sounds good to me..

Damn I really hope that's not true about it losing it's flavor. Actually last night I accidentally mixed a bit of the M-type liquid I made up into my Cobra with my Hot Vapes 555, and it gave it that same "Poison esque" kind of flavor. Hard to describe. I mixed up a little 3mL bottle of M-type/brown sugar just to mix with other tobaccos to give a shot. Gotta work all day but i'm off for 5 days for Thanksgiving so you can bet i'll be experimenting like crazy then!

I mixed up a batch of TFA M-Type tobacco, and,of course, didn't sample it because I know how awful it is fresh! I put it aside to steep and, after a week, decided to try it just in case it didn't need to steep.
WRONG!! It was as awful as I remembered it to be. So, back to the dark drawer to steep for another week. I really it doesn't have to go a whole month, but I'm prepared for that eventuality.

IMO, M-type is the worst for needing steeping. Also, I don't trust the consistency of Walmart VG. Besides, it's not that cheap.

Actually I think flavorwise it tastes fine unsteeped. The thing that bothers me was it had a very harsh kind of element to the flavor that i'm hoping will go away after it steeps a bit. I'm about to mix up a 50mL bottle of 8mg Cinnamon Danish, I am kicking myself for not ordering more of this flavoring it is just OMG SO EFFING GOOD!!!

Oh I am, I just hope the flavor doesn't change too much from what it already is because as stated I was really, really hoping to find a DIY that was similar to Rawr's tobaccos and right now it tastes damn close. I just mixed up a 30mL batch of 8mg 70/30 Cinnamon Danish and have it in my Cobra right now. I'm really pleased to have a juice that's ready to vape fresh because I expected to have them all steeping for weeks before I could even use any of it. It tastes so frickin' good right now as it is, I can only imagine what a bit of steeping will do for it!
