on a mission

So its been alittle while. Getting settled in my new house on a new base. I was having problems with my kangers burning so hot they leaked and leaving a horrified taste. I found a video finally on micro coils. I did a little research on micro coils in a t3s. And went for it. I wrapped a 3/32 drillbit 10 times as tight as i could get it together with 28g kathnal wire and treaded 2.5 silica wick threw. Then used a needle threw the wick as i installed it into the atty and trimmed up the wick and added a flavor wick on top of that. Refilled the tank and what a difference it made. I have ego c twist batteries and regardless of the voltage a get great clouds with a whole lot of flavor.

I've never used silica. I didn't like the way tiny shards of it would come off the wick sometimes when I was cleaning my heads. Didn't seem appealing having the possibility of those floating around in my tank.

Then I tried cotton. Cheap, easy to work with, good results, etc. Only, getting just the right amount from a cotton ball was highly inconsistent. And the flavor I was getting was word. Hints of cotton in the beginning and then if it wasn't wicking properly the taste of burnt cotton wasn't good.

That's when I moved into using Sugar and Cream yarn from Michaels. With yarn I like the consistency you can get from it because The yarn is made up of 4 strands. For me using 3 strands in coil and 3 on top for flavor wicks works perfectly. Boiled it and I have never gotten a cotton taste or burnt hit. Wicks perfectly when I'm chain vaping, plumes of vapor and the flavor of my juice had really come out.

Sorry its been a little bit to report the data back on the ce5. Doesnt really give off to much vapor as the kanger does with the same coil set up. When i built it i added a flavor wick that extended to the bottom of the tank like the coil wick did. Seemed legit at first but didnt work. Ill be messing with it some more soon.

Im on my 3rd tank since i rebuilt the kanger and have to say no leaking like the factory coil. I guess i cuaght on to something.
