I'm going to aplogize in advance for the length of my post. If you have the patience to read this and respond, bless your heart.
So last year my cousin started vaping. He introduced me to it and it really impressed me. I had no real intention of quitting, but bought the same one he had (Joye 510 and I preferred a 70vg/30pg mix most days) on a whim and started getting really heavy into making my own blends and buying an extra battery. I vaped constantly for around 4 months and thought it was the coolest thing since I found out about fireworks. It was awesome being able to smoke in bars in the DC area and not be told to .... or put out my cig.
During this time, I got a new IT job and somehow along the way, started smoking again. I was smoking ultra lights with an additional filter attached. I ended up getting laid off due to budget reasons and went back to smoking my usual half-pack a day. After around 7 months of stressful, heartbreaking unemployment, I have just been offered a new position with a different company. Now that I have some extra money rolling in, I want to get back to smoking ecigs again. BUT I don't like continually filling my cig, don't like the mess, just want something simpler and easier to take around.
I'm an avid photographer and find myself out on client sites in the city and things. I can't be hassled with the "oh no, I have to find an outlet to charge my damn cig up" deal. I also can't be worrying about spilling e-liquid all over my camera gear. Last I checked, there were several "box" designs which seemed to syphon up liquid in little bottles up to the vaporizer and that seemed like something I was interested at the time..
My real questions are these:
1. Is it really harmful to inhale water vapor into your lungs? (I know this has been asked to death and there isn't really a clear consensus on the outcomes of such a thing. I certainly felt healthier when vaping..I'm just still a bit reserved on that.)
2. What are the better vapes out there? I want something I can invest in and grow with. I don't want to get something that I wish had a feature that I MAY want in the future. VV perhaps? Ability to use different atomizers?
3. Budget of around 150, less is always better. But again, investment is the key word here.
Anyway, thanks for hearing my sob story. I hope that my life can once again be on the fast track to being a bit better since my terrible experience in the current economy.
