Well, since others have said you can vape at 6v and it's ok, I was going to do that.

Just now a friend from work said she ordered the Xhaler and had 6v batteries, and told me to do 3.7v instead, because at 6v, the cartomizer heats up really quickly and you get a nasty burnt taste.

So now I'm confused again. I know the Xhaler and Chuck are two different things, but I don't know what voltage to vape at. I'm a chain vaper, and I like to take long draws for maximum throat hit and vapor output.

I never thought ordering something would prove to be so difficult, lol.

With 6v you don't need the long draws to get the TH. You should be able to get massive vapor AND TH before the carto gets too hot.

Thanks! I'll go with 6v then. Worst case scenario, if I don't like it, I'll just get some 3.7v batteries.

Now, as soon as I find out the body color I need, I'll place my order. WOOT!

The body color is "black" however Jeff might just do a full wrap in which case the body color would be covered up by the black of the wrap. Just send him the mock-up images (so he can see the relationship to the button) and the flat wrap image. As always, if he needs/wants the Photoshop PSD file I can send it (too big to post).

Just a suggestion... you may want to go ahead and get the 18650's while your at it (combine the shipping costs). The 6V is good, but you will not get the batt life of the 3.7V, and 6V is a bit much for some.
Plus you are going to see a big difference going to 3.7 big batt, compared to stock stuff. It may be enough of a step for you without going 6V.
They both have their place, but it's nice to have the option to do either.

Just my .02

Ok, thinking about getting this for batteries:

Ultrafire 3.6 volt or 3 volt RCR123 Lithium Battery Charger

Varta Lithium CR2 Batteries ( 2 Pack)

AW 18650 Protected 2200 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery

Is that the right hookup?? I'm trying to get everything I need from ONE vendor, so I only have to look for one package.
You don't need the CR2 batteries - the 3v RCR123's are the better way to go. Jeff has mad a battery sleeve available to people who already had lots of CR2's that they bought for other mods, but the consensus is if you don't already have CR2's, go for the RCR123's, since the original Chuck design was to use 2 of those for 6v.

Also, that Ultrafire 3.6v or 3v Li-Ion charger won't charge your 18650 batteries - they are too big to fit. I'd recommend getting a tr-001 trustfire charger for your 3.7v batteries - it will charge 18650, 18350 and 16340 3.7v batteries - and a separate 3v charger for your 3v batteries. Tenergy makes chargers that work with their LI-Ion 3 v batteries and a different one that works with the 3v LifePO4 batteries.

Thanks, Jeannie. Back to the drawing board, lol.

Before I forget..some sites sell spacers and dummy batteries. I won't need any of that, will I?
