Two of my good, not too old, chargers are not charging one battery of set up as much as other battery but with those two the light just doesn't get green for that bay. (Maybe would if I left batteries on long enough but always a line up of batteries waiting.) One is six-bay; other two-bay same brand, though. If I take the fully charged out of bay or bay-set (for the six-bay) and reinsert not-fully-charged battery back in by itself it then charges up all the way in a short time. And it doesn't make a difference which bay I put it back in. It's not an always occurrence so not sure what is going on. One of the chargers even has the ability to bring overly discharged back up if they are still okay. Sure helps to have a multimeter. I keep a little do-hicky handy by chargers. It is the fastest way to check them with little hassle. Scott gave it to me and it has been a fabulous gift. I think he made it with a small gauge and two wires coming out of it. Very inexpensive parts but works GREAT! And less hassle than pulling out the MM. I'll see if I can find a link.

The slow charging 18350 AW IMR, on X-tar SP2, light just went green. I put this set on about 0200. One finished fast but the other one just now turned green. Admittedly this set is from March 2012 and have been used heavily but I do switch positions of batteries every ml or so vaping cycle. It seems that not all batteries are equal, even if same brand, and purchased at same time. I have one lone AW IMR 18350, purchase date June 2012, waiting for a partner. Its mate never was good so I chucked it last month. (chuck=recycle) My Best Buy takes in spent batteries for recycle. It's right inside the first door before going all the way into store.

I've ordered two more sets of AW IMR 18350. Getting low on sets.

Thanks Redeye. Idk guys. I'm gonna save up and buy a couple new chargers and maybe a new battery for each of my mods. Hopefully I'll have enough money for a new eGo too because I stepped on my 900mAh and broke it -___- I'm probably going to get a 400mAh spinner for out of the house in situations where I dont want to take my provari but I need an extra VV device.

AS FOR my situation... I don't know whats wrong. The charger seems to be charging my other batteries fine. I have two chargers.. But I only have 1 charger that will charge batteries smaller than 18650 sooo I basically only have the 1 charger for a few devices. I use this charger to charge my AW 18350 bats for my provari and its working fine. :( I'm wondering if I accidentally broke something in the reo when I was still pressing the button down hard.

The button doesnt fire with a light touch like it used to when I 1st got it. Now I have to press the firing button down a fair bit further than I used to. And its only working with the 1 eFest battery now. THIS REMINDS ME, the guy wants to give me a refund on the Efest battery.. I'll have to tell him that its probably not the battery because an AW battery stopped working too.

I hope I can get this figured out soon because the reo is my #1 device for out of the house. Its like my pack of cigarettes. I don't know what I'd do without it now lol... I would hate to have to take my provari out everywhere.
Sounds like a trip to Maine is in order .I will ship it back the day after it arrives

maine is so close to my state. hmm.. I'm really thinking about sending it back. I think I'd have to bring it to the post office, right? I couldn't put stamps on a small box could I? I'll figure everything out. Is there a fee at all if something is found broken? I'll probably be sending it in because by the time a new charger gets here I might as well of had it sent in, especially if it is the reo. idk. I'll have to sleep on it and what not.

Just any FYI.... my DH has broken several eGo twisters by dropping them or sitting down on them. The new spinners seem to be more robust.

My DH is a button masher. A couple of our REOs and a couple of re-homed REOs had issues with the firing pin. One, that had sustained repeated "button mashing," started catching on the edge of button top of battery and firing inconsistently. Another, the old version of firing pin, from long ago, just wouldn't hit the battery button top correctly, after repeated button mashing "abuse." No matter what I did to try to correct that it simply just needs to have an innards rebuild (2 X Mini rebuild kits ordered and a Grand rebuild kit). I find it highly unusual that the firing pin would become unusable so early but it is possible. On very rare occassions a REO slips by that has a minor problem. I've only gotten one out of too-many-REO-numbers-to-publish. (BTW.... when the firing pin issue started with one Mini, where it was not fully engaging on the battery nipple, I still had several brands of batteries and it was worse on certain ones.) Hoping you can get this taken care of soon. Be assured that the turn around at REO "spa" is only a day.

OK so I just tried metering one of the 14500 batteries that isn't working in my reo... It ISN'T metering. I metered the last battery that still works in my reo and it metered at 3.7 volts. The one (that I can find) that doesn't work in my reo, didn't give me any reading in the ohm meter. So what does this MEAN?

They are all IMR batteries... IMR batteries DON'T have fuses that can be tripped, right? As far as I know, they don't. So I'm guessing the reo didn't short them out... So why wouldn't they be working? Why don't they meter? It didn't show ANY charge? Which is weird, because I never really let any of my batteries completely discharge. I'm fairly certain that when it stopped working, it still had some charge left to it. So why the heck would it say NO charge if it surely does have a charge in it?

Did my charger break the battery maybe?

I can't wait for this new charger to get here so I can see if it'll charge these batteries. I need to find the other 1 that doesnt work so I can meter it and try to charge it when the new charger gets here. Idk. This is weird.

Also, I have a question... If i post a picture of my reo's 510 battery connection, can someone please tell me if I've pushed it down without noticing it? I'm really paranoid that I'm screwing the atomizers in too far and that I've already pushed it down.

Really? You think the reo could of done it to my batteries??

I'm probably going to send the batteries back to the guy I bought them from. I'm going to try recharging them with the new charger I just ordered because maybe it was the volt meter that I used. (I dont even want to say what I used.... lol)

SO I'm hoping he'll still take them because I e-mailed him a few days ago now and he said he would take them for refund. I hope so. ONE of the batteries I bought from him is still working so I'm hoping I can keep that one and return the broken one.

This is confusing. I don't get why 2 different batteries, which are 2 different brands, from 2 different vendors, had to break! Unbelievable! I wonder if its just a huge coincidence!?

Nope the Reo didnt do that to your batteries, the batteries go bad on their own and operator error can cause it too. If the batteries get drained to far it will damage the batteries. I have several that are only a few months old that are doing the same thing. Some of my 18350's show 4.2 volts but as soon as I put a load on the batteries the voltage drops down to below 3 volts. Just measuring the charge voltage does not guarantee that battery is still good. Just like a car battery, we rely on the battery to deliver both volts and amps under a load.

Be aware that new AW IMR batteries must go through a few cycles to operate at maximum performance. It is very important to take them out and charge them before they drop below 3.5. This is extremely important the first four or five times they are used. Length of time before they drop is shorter those first times. You basically "set" your batteries for a long life with those first few use cycles and charges.

The AW IMR batteries will last even longer if you regularly pull them out and charge them before they fully discharge or drop below 3.5. They do NOT have a memory. Yes, it means you don't get as many hours out of them each use, but you will get a lot more cycles during their life.

As long as it seems to be question and answer time, here I go...and I hope I explain it so that it's understandable...

When I check the batteries after charging, they read about 4.19-20 ...that's good? And I don't have a clue how to check it or what to check it with " under load".

I finally have an attie reader for my rebuildables, tho.

Kay, rtdvapor (and others) sell this to read battery voltage under load:

Cheaper than most places...
You screw one end onto your mod and put an atty on the other end and hit the firing button to see what it reads.
