I had my last cig. When I woke that morning I had 3 left in an empty pack. Now or never I told myself, and it's been a year since the last one.

One year ago tomorrow the FORMALDEHYDE JUNK STUDY was released...my very first day without a cig. I was like "oh Siht what have I done?"
Brace yourselves new Formaldehype junk study to be released Jan 21
But I stuck with it, and the fraud was exposed.

Before New Years I started the transition to full time zero nicotine vape. It was a goal I had from the start and I was proud. I was also proud that the Legislature of my state, West Virginia, had no deeming bad bills on vape.

Then last week, the Governor, Earl Ray Tomblin stuck a 7.25 cents per ml ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! TAX on ALL ejuice sold in the state. Thats over a ONE DOLLAR TAX on a 15 ml bottle of e juice. Home <--state of WV, governor's office.

I am at a loss as to why such a life changing and life saving product is being treated as evil.

Quitting the cigs is never easy. Staying quit isn't easy either. I've made it a year. When I first quit I remember people stating their quitaversaries. I don't feel a year of my life has passed, I feel like more than a year to my life has been added.

Proud of you............and, As for your Governor - Probably one of the simplest actions that could be taken to stabilize Revenues and not critically damage Vaping.

As you and I(neighboring) know, the tax is not overly high when looking at Fuel price fluctuations, Living expense increases, etc. or on the bright side - Health savings, savings over Cigarette cost - (used to drive right through WV to reach Va. to purchase) ;)

As E-liquid Vendors get Fair pricing in line - Fewer and fewer $20 30ml bottles, there will be a fair offset to moderate taxing.

............but I will remain DIY, whatever comes to pass.:D

I Expect a (2yr) Report next Jan. :thumb:

Congrats on one year. Thanks for the info on the new tax as well. Wasn't aware of it. Go figure. At least it's not totally outrageous. If it gets to be more expensive than my old smoking habit, guess I will quit this as well. Sorry for the rant. Congrats on one year smoke free.
