It's been a long time since I've been to these forums, but I wanted to return to celebrate my anniversary. One year ago today I smoked my last cigarette.
Before I started vaping I was a pack a day smoker for over 20 years. My journey started on 7/15/10 when I received my first ecig - you know, the kind that looks and feels the most like a real cigarette, but is essentially junk. LOL Within 2 weeks I upgraded to the Joye 510 and a couple months later I "graduated" to the Ego/Riva, which is still my choice today.
I really struggled to quit smoking completely for the first month due to all the other stuff in cigarettes I was addicted to, but each cigarette tasted worse and worse until I just decided it was time to put them down --- hopefully forever.
I spent hundreds of dollars before I finally settled down and found my comfort zone with my Ego's and Riva's and my favorite juices (Ms. T's), but every cent was worth it to make it to this day.
Although it's been months since I've visited this forum, I never would have made it without this place. Thank you to the seasoned members whose posts answered all of my questions, made me feel I wasn't alone, or pointed me in the right direction. For all you newbies out there wondering if this will really work, I'm proof that it can!!
