I got my first ego and ce5 a year ago today. Said goodbye to cigarettes and have just recently got to where I have gear I like, and juices I enjoy.

It has been an expensive education. Lots of trial and error. I learned the value of all the great advice found here at ECF.

I also learned that juice reviews are more or less useless, which is where most of my money was wasted.

I have progressed to a Sigelei 20 watt, and Ehpro Kayfun lite+ v2, and have a couple of other apvs, and Kanger pt's in the rotation. I build my own coils and make most of my own juice now.

Life is good and I hope this will encourage anyone to keep vaping through the
pitfalls until they find their sweet spot. Life or death is a BIG deal!:vapor:

One year is THE milestone. By then you are happy with your vape more than likely and you don't have to spend more money unless you decide to!

That's when the "savings" (lol) at the bottom of the banner kick in, because i make my own juice, my own coils, and own a few mods i'd not sell. The expenses i have are flavours, eliquid, and kanthal wire once every 3 months.

I'm with you all the way on the steak dinner; nice to be able to smell and taste it again!

Yup! That's been my experience exactly. Plus my dog loves that I no longer stink.

Congrats, just passed my 1 year mark with zero analogs, lots of trial and error and fiddling and back and forth with smoking. Dripping saved me, wish I'd gotten into rebuilding far sooner. Don't even crave anymore, not a bit. Was laying in bed the other night thinking about that fact and thought I'd test myself. Imagined the act of opening a pack, pulling out a cig, lighting up, all in great detail. A year ago I would have been salivating and reaching for my vape to drown the cravings in clouds. That night, no real feelings of any kind, it was weird and wonderful all at the same time.
