One year vapeaversary!

I have it down as the 12th, but it was before that but couldn't remember the exact date and the 12th is easy for me to remember. Anyways... I started vaping using the Blu and duel used for several months until I got better gear and to be honest I never thought I would quit completely, it just sort of happened.

Having smoked for over 30 years I pretty much resolved myself to the fact that I would never be able to quit and I really didn't want to even though I knew it was harming me. I am truly amazed that I am smoke free and very grateful to vaping.

This forum is such a great place, and most everything I've learned has come from here and I thank you all for your support. I don't personally know anyone here, but feel as though I do and I really enjoy hanging out here with you all.

Congrats! That's great getting through 1 year. When I first started I never expected I'd end up off cigarettes for over a year now as well.

I know what you mean about knowing it's harming you and still not wanting to quit. I was there too. It's amazing the power smoking has - which makes your accomplishment all the more impressive!

Congratulations @Bonskibon for becomingng and staying a former smoker. I wish I actually cared about the date I quit as I just know the month and year of mine. All I look fondly at it is that I did quit and how it sounds to say years ago. Keep up the good work!

Congrats. Coming up on a year and a half for me and I am still amazed that I am a non-smoker.

In fact, I haven't even vaped today as we are traveling by car with my 4 year old and it is freezing outside. The cravings are nothing even near what it was like with cigarettes!
