Ok, so this is 4 days early from my actual vapeaversary.....but with grad school my ECF time has been drastically cut. :( And ignore my signature calendar....I have reset it 3 times now and it still reads the wrong info.

8/22/10 was the last time I smoked a cigarette. THREE YEARS! Year 3 has been the simplest of all my years of vaping. I have everything pretty much down to a science. I know what I like, I stay with those things, and order accordingly. This has been the year of the MVP, the Gripper, and of course my standby Provari's. I am pretty much on auto-pilot: fill carto, put in tank, charge batts nightly, change carto every 4 days, repeat. Go through about 30mL of DIY juice every 7-10 days. Always have 6 of those in steeping rotation. As I use 1 bottle, I make another and put it at the end of the rotation. Smooth as butter. The biggest thing I did with vaping this year is go to a vape-meet. It. Was. AWESOME! I cannot wait to go to more.

Most of my vaping budget has gone to over over OVER stocking of supplies. My supply toolbox is pretty full. I am pretty sure I could vape for the next 5 years without needing to order anything. But, nothing in life is ever certain, and I know that regulations could happen and the economy could take a crap on me as it did in 2008. So I have planned ahead very very well. Vaping supplies will always be in my stockpile arsenal. While I will probably hold off ordering anything else until after the new year, I am sure I will stock up on more stuff then. :)

Still cannot believe it is 3 years. I have no desire to ever smoke again. The smell of smoke nauseates me. Regardless of the FDA or regulations or whatnot, I will never smoke again. I have plenty of nic to wean myself down if I need to. To all of you new vapers, keep at it! You are lucky to be vaping in a time where vape supplies are aplenty and extensive. When I started it was very primitive and limited.

Time to start preparing for year 4! Vape on my friends!

Awesome!

It feels good huh? I'm waiting for that 10 year mark now, even 20, 30, 50 years (and If I make 50 well, I suppose I will have earned a Provari replica tombstone. LOL.[/QUO

Why a replica ?

If you make 50 years, You deserve a provari carved from the finest Granite my friend. (or even marble):toast:

December 12 will be 4 years for me after smoking 2 1/2 packs a day for 42 years. Never thought I would see this. I am now working my way down on the nicotine strength. I assure you I tried every trick in the book during those 42 years to get off of cigs and nothing worked until this. I can't express the gratitude I have toward whomever first came up with this media.

Thank you everyone for the kind words! Just one of the reasons I love this forum.....we are all in this together!

I agree BenBBrown.....I always make sure to respond to the study requests for vaping info gathering. I want to get my experiences and health benefits out to as many different groups as possible so that they can be included in the long term study of vaping. I know these simple facts: I have had no smokers cough for over 2.5 years, I have good lab values and cholesterol readings, had a complete abdominal ultrasound last spring and all was good, chest xray last winter and clear as a bell. I can walk, run, sprint.....not get winded or out of breath. I can do CPR chest compressions and not lose my stamina (definitely a bonus for my patients!). My physical health is probably the best it has been in my adult life. I am not a doctor, but in my opinion, there are no consequences to vaping that could come anywhere close to the consequences of smoking. It is nothing but a benefit to all who choose to vape instead of smoke.
