Just got this bad boy in the mail today and, excuse my cheesiness, but WOW. I've never vaped anything higher than 3.7v, And I've just recently (again) gotten back into vaping, so the first few hits were a little harsh. After some use though, I'm loving it. Side bar: I thought i ordered the desert Joe liquid, but got ry4 instead. Not complaining; I've never tried the flavor before, And I'm enjoying it.

Anyways, main concern. I've always used manual batteries. Always. I started on a blu a few years back, so that's really been the only auto battery that I've had contact with. I've heard that when you drip with auto batteries you can run the risk of getting juice into the battery and ruining it. V4L has made it clear on their site that their warranties don't cover this. I have the dual function Vapor Zeus, but I'm worried that if i leave it standing up over night or on an angle that juice might find its way down there. Is this a legitimate concern or am i thinking too far into it? I made sure not to fill it to the brim today, but it's still a worry i have. I want a long life out of this thing!

Any thoughts?

Kenneh (sir correct?) having taken one apart wouldn't be too concerned. Have tried to intentionally kill one with juice before and failed, once I saw how it was designed understood why. The Zeus uses a microphone at the bottom to activate, it's protected by one gasket (with small holes), then goes the battery, another gasket, then the switch mechanism with a small metal tube for air flow to activate the mic, another gasket, then the switch and main pcb, yet another gasket, then the mouth piece. You'd have to get the juice into the side holes of the connector, them have it go past all the gaskets, pcb, and battery before it could finally get to the mic. Not saying it couldn't happen, especially if you set the usb connection down in a puddle of juice for some reason, but the odds are against it.

The Smileomizers (small, IDK about the large ones) hold 3.5ml. My first fill I always measure out 3.5ml with a syringe. Fits it exactly. After that I just top them off. I will put in about a 1/2ml and usually shake the Smileomizer like a thermometer (battery connection side down of course) until the top of the poly filling looks dryish. If nothing comes out I go ahead and put more in and shake until it just starts to come the bottom (again, the battery connection side). If I do overfill a tad, I blow through it into a clean rag to clear the center tube. Clean it off, connect it up, carry it, leave it, and it’s never leaked on me. If you are worried about overnight, just unscrew the Smileomizer and leave it.

Morandir, a microphone? Are you sure? Really, or is that a typo? I have two now, a dual mode, and an auto. My dual mode in auto mode is extremely sensitive. I can barely tap the end (actually hold my finger there and just press) on the usb port and it will fire for a second. I cannot do that with the only auto one. So, that is a microphone acting as the switch? I am curious, why a microphone? Would it respond to any audio input (specific frequency)?

^Just checked that out, as i have a dual Zeus as well. Strange indeed. I did hum by the charger end at varying pitches and it didn't fire. I have noticed that if you blow into the mouth piece, the Zeus will fire for a few seconds after, as if it was expelling the air you put into it. Over all, I haven't had any problems. I work at an airport with varying sounds and frequencies, and it hasn't fired on its own yet.

LOL, I work at the airport too. How funny. I'm a fueler at DTW. I'm just waiting for the hammer to come down on vaping at the airport. Its a $100 ticket if they catch you smoking. I'm sure it irks them to see me barrel down the zipper road on my tug and puffing on a big fat Zues. LOL. I do know Delta banned vaping on flights for passengers. Hell, I vape everywhere. AOA, jetway, terminal, opps, breakroom, my company vehical, the FBO, and my company doesn't mind. I love it!
