Oops. Juice Delivery Systems

So, I'm still relatively new to vaping. Still trying things out, learning, trying new things, and so on. I started, as did many of us, on (not so) cheap cig-a-likes, moved into eGos, a ProVari, and a few nice mechanical mods. Pretty much have the battery thing figured out for now I think. For juice delivery I started with cartos, tried clearos (Visions, Kangers, Vivis, the usual suspects), and quickly went back to cartos in a tank. Love the convenience, no-fiddle factor of the carto in a tank setup.

Now my problem. For the past 48 hours I've been dripping in an HH 357 and vaping an AGA-T almost exclusively. A short time ago I took a few pulls on carto... hmmm... weird taste. Tried a new carto with a different flavor of juice... still a strange taste. Never noticed this before. Is there any way to un-taste carto filler? Have I ruined myself, and a significant investment, on cartos and tanks?

P.S. I'll still take the burnt carto taste over the hot metal taste of an improper or malfunctioning ss mesh/kanthal wick any day.

In my opinion, your cartos works perfectly.
Problem is that you just tried the best experience in vaping: dripping... specially on a HH...

Dripping is a bad guy, when you try it, you can't go back

Anyway happens also to me, I use DCT on my provari or lavatube when I'm out or at work. When I'm at home at computer or watching tv I like to drip on my Cisco.. and after that, if I try a carto again, it tastes weird, also if used the same juice!
After sleeping, the day after the taste is again "ok".

So, the issue is that dripping and cartos have two completely different taste and vapour density, so when you move back from dripping to cartos you feel the difference
