So, I figured I'd blow a hundred bucks today picking up a Provape 1 and a drip-tip for clandestine activities (vaping in bed, vaping in my office with the door shut, etc). It's a junior compared to my Provari.

I'd love some advice on operating the drip tip. I seem to be on a balance between getting good vape, getting a dried out silica wick taste, and flooding the darned thing, but when I drip it right, it vapes perfectly.

Ok, it took a minute but I finally figured it out. What you're really talking about is an atomizer and you're working on becoming a dripper. I dripped for about the first year of my vaping journey and it is an art, just like so many aspects of vaping. The problem with dripping is you'll only get about 4 good hits off a properly filed atomizer, Usually, you would put about 4-5 drops of juice in your atomizer--enough to wet it, but not so much that you'd see liquid sitting on top of the cotton/filler. As soon as your hit tastes slightly burnt, add a few more drops. It will become intuitive--in other words it takes some practice. Personally (and I know there will be many that disagree) I don't understand why you want to drip. There are so many better delivery systems now, I don't know why I dripped so long--its a pain in the a--. BTW, I assume you are using a drip tip on top of your atomizer. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them...

I agree with everything Moedog said. I dripped for a long time, but it is a PITA. Back in the day, the flavor difference between dripping and everything else was pretty significant. Nowdays, not so much. I still drip using rebuildables, and I still use the HH357 attys for testing new flavors.

If you want to drip I would check out the HH357. They hold a bit more juice and give a little better window between flooded and dry.
