I only started vaping back in January, but thankfully I stumbled on to Ms T's Bakery shortly thereafter. I've tried about a dozen different flavors so far, and I have another order set to arrive on Tuesday with a bunch more goodies. I can't wait to try Orange Dreamsicle.

I know a lot of you drip, so I was hoping I could get some suggestions on what to drip with. Those Trippy Tips look AWESOME, but before taking the leap, I was hoping to get some advice.

Currently, I vape with an eGo C. I use the cartridges, and I do enjoy them. I regularly get dry puffs on the thicker liquids, though, and I'd really like to stop that. I bought a small drip tip to use with a 510 atomizer, just to see if I would like it. Now, I know very little about dripping properly, so that's why I'm here!

When I drip into it, several times I've inhaled liquid right into my mouth. It was terrible. What am I doing wrong here? Putting too much in? Not letting it settle?

I like the inconspicuousness of having a 650 mah battery, and I don't like the idea of having to deal with the high drain batteries, so I'm pretty happy with the eGo C for now, although the new Twist is very cool.

If I wanted to get a trippy tip, what atomizer would you all recommend to use with it?

Thanks in advance for the input!

The keys to dripping:
1. Ohms (resistance) must be balanced to the power (voltage/watts). For your eGo 650 you are probably getting 3.1 to 3.3 volts, so that is the lower range (this is not a bad thing at all - it all depends on the resistance of the atomizer).
-You should use an LR atomizer; they range from 1.5 to 2.0 Ohms. I'd get a few; one in each range; 1.5, 1.7, etc. Also there are 510 and 306 that will fit your device without an adapter needed for say a 901.

2. It is worse to drip too much (like what you did) - aside from getting juice in the mouth, the vapor will be nil. After blowing out any primer, prime a new atty with a couple extra drops (4 to 5 total). Vape until the juice starts to taste harsh or airy (less flavor). Then add 2 to 3 drops depending on what you like. (dry vapes can ruin the coil).

3. Juice (MsTs is my favorite).... more VG will give more vapor and PG more flavor... go for a balance if you have the choice.

TRippy Tips are the BEST you can get.... Pyrex or glass will minimize juice coming back up into your mouth and facilitate fast and direct feed to the coil. TT has double o rings so they fit and stay on MUCH better than single o ring Pyrex d/ts. I don't think any other material is as good. (even stainless steel) IMO.

I don't worry about spitting Soon, if i put just the right amount of juice it doesn't spit.
If i thought i could get a donut, i'd get one.... i give up on that scene on TT nights. Some reason, i get shut out during prime time... same with VV Reo's.
I have an Ody that i'd trade in part to get a TT donut.... hint.
I think 357's are better ....
uke, i know we use the same atty the 357, try a pillar tip if you havent yetm much less spitting on break in and if you get a chance to get a donut i recommend it highly, no juice will spit through it.

yeah, i have a bunch of Pyrex d/ts from Theecig they have only one o ring and the lip is tiny, i get wobbling and some don't fit in well... i think i need new o rings too. Bert at TT really got it down - function as well as form....
But man, i am so jealous of the TT'ers on the thread.... face/palm .... I think some have a better electronic "in" to the site than others...
I've tried everything to nab one, but never works.
I hope MsTs gets a few donuts next time... she's da bomb.

Terex, there is one thing I notice no one has mentioned. One of the biggest problems that gets juice in your mouth is that when you drip through the big hole in the drip tip, it may get stuck in the tip and not go all the way down to the atomizer element. I have noticed this mostly on delrin tips. It does happen to me on some of my aluminum ones too. I have a stainless steel Shorty T-Tip from Super T Manufacturing, and the hole is big enough where it does not cause this problem. They actually even make the holes bigger now, I have an older generation. The hole in my Trippy Tip is wide enough too, and the juice seems to slide easily down the glass.

You can tell pretty easily of this is the problem. Drip into the hole, and look to see if it has all gone down. If you see any indication that it is getting stuck in there, you'll know that the first drag you take will give you a mouthful. When this happens, it's easy to fix. You just want to blow a puff or two of air down the hole. When you do this, DON'T put your lips onto the tip itself. This will cause too much pressure when you blow and make the juice leak from the bottom of the atty. Hold it an inch or so away from your mouth, purse your lips kind of like you are going to whistle, and blow a little. If there is juice stuck in the tip, you'll actually hear a change in the tone of the air going into the tip as the juice goes down. It seems to work best if you blow a steady stream and sort of wave the drip tip in front of the air flow. You can hear it like I said, and it won't leak from the bottom. It may take a time or two to get it right, but you'll understand what I mean pretty quickly. This may not be your problem, but it is just a thought. There is a big difference in the amount of juice you suck into your mouth when it is just spitting from the atty as opposed to when there are two or three full drops stuck in the drip tip.

edit: Oh and by the way, I'm using standard Joye 510 atties in 1.5, 1.8, 2.5 and 3 ohms on various devices with the Trippy Tip. It works beautifully. If you are using a 650mah eGo battery, you will probably like atties in 1.5 to 1.8 ohms (low resistance). The flavor REALLY comes through and you'll love the vapor production.

Brandon, thanks! That is exactly what my issue was. I also really appreciate your recommendation of standard 510 attys. I only bought one 510 1.5 ohm atty a few weeks back, just to see if I would like it. My budget is focused on trying as many Ms T flavors as I can right now. That's why I am not ready to purchase another vaping system just yet. If and when I am, I will be ALL OVER one of those Trippy Tips. Since I'm from Pittsburgh, I'll probably get something yellow for my black eGo. Black and Gold! :)

I like the look of the pillar, too, so I will definitely keep my eye out for that. The doughnut sounds, functionally, excellent, but that look is just not for me.
