Opinion on a good tank

I need a good tank, for a 5v automatic passthrough. I could gamble and experiment, but I don't want to waste money, so I'm asking for opinions. I have a tank with disposable carto blanks, but it tends to flood, which I know is a big no no on batteries, especially an auto passthrough, the tank and blanks are Vapor4Life, the tank is fine, but I think it's the blanks. The battery is an 808 threaded Vapor Zues, they have a year warranty (the battery stopped charging after months of decreased battery life and they replaced it, which is why I went the vapor4life route, for the warranty). If I have to, absolutely have to, i'll get an adapter (I found good ones that can be used with auto batteries). I've been only vaping for 9 months, since I started smoking again (I was smoke free for like 8 years and cigars became a slippery slope), so I'm definitely a novice, I understand the basics, but I'm hoping to tap into your opinions. I tried doing some googling, but didn't find anything of much help.
Atomizer, cartomizer, or clearomizer? Which leaks the least? I'd prefer rebuildable, and don't want to spend a lot.

Everyone has a preferred Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (RTA). And, they all have slight differences to offer the vaper.

I started with a Kayfun, but still run Lemo, Kayfun V4, Rose V2 (flavor) and getting an UTA2 today in the mail. I think the Lemo is the most flexible as to air and flavor.

One thing, about leaking, is that I have learned not to lay my RTAs on their side. Around the house I have coffee mugs with a paper towel in the bottom to sit my APV.

All have slight differences, I just keep the tank up-right.

I don't know if I can think of anything good for an 808 passthrough, you can't use like a sub ohm tank or anything.. honestly for that type of battery I'd say your best bet would be a carto tank. You may need an 808 to 510 adapter tho, Idk if you can get 808 cartos that are big enough for a tank.

Generally speaking, the term "rebuildable" means a juice attachment which the user makes his own coils and wicks from wire and cotton. I don't believe this is what the OP is looking for.

Just a FYI, the 808-threaded gear used by VaporFi is outdated technology. Nearly all vape-related gear is 510 or ego threaded today.

You can purchase 808 cartomizers for cartotanks here. Smoktek pre-drilled 808 cartomizers Be advised that these fit only XL (45mm) length cartotanks and are dual coils.

My advice is to purchase a setup that uses the more common 510 or eGo threaded gear. You can use commonly found cartomizers or clearomizers on these setups.

Wow, Sorry I failed. Yea that wont work for 5v autodraw.
TFV4 Looks amazing, But I am a die hard dripper. Think I may like it though. So many options.
Still a solid choice if you are looking for clouds and a decent regulated Device. You could get an awesome setup for around $100... That just a year ago would have been $200 and not Temp control option.

Have you got a chance to try temp control coil yet?
have some of the ni200 coils on the way - have the rba, but have not really played with it yet... things have been a little nutty, lol - all of my friends seemed to need juice mixed at the same time... hoping to have the ni200 coils in hand in the next week or so (ordered 'em from fasttech, as I wasn't in a huge hurry)

In all honesty.... many of us tried in vain to make sense of our 808 system hardware and salvage what we had. You are better off starting afresh.
(and no, that is not a cheap shot at V4L, which should have thrown the towel in a long time ago, tempting as it may be.)

I think v4l is using an outdated threading to keep people dependant on them, honestly. I do have a 501, but this is a brand new (replacement) battery, I don't want to just leave it to waste away forgotten lol. I found a few carto tanks on myvaporstore, but will need an adaptor for them. My issue is that 808 carto blanks are really hard to find. V4L charges 3.25 a pop, I've seen some for as low as 89¢ with wayyyyy cheaper shipping than V4L offers, but they're always 501 or sold out. I have an aspire ce4 on my other battery for an idea of a what they're like and I do like it a lot. I wish I had gone the 501 route when I bought my battery. But Christmas will be a year since I've had it and I can convince my husband to get me something else. V4L is too costly overall for an outdated threading, and once the battery goes, you're up the creek, so I was gravitating toward being able to replace the batteries anyway.
Are cartomizer blanks a standard size? If it says it takes a 501 drip tip, it should fit my tank, no? I think myvaporstore sells tanks for Cartomizers for cheap anyway.
I'm smart, good with my hands, catch on quickly (it may not seem it with how I write on here, communicating is my downfall), so I'd love suggestions on where to start with a mod. Your experiences in that department would help. When I say rebuildable, I did mean both fully rebuildable and just piece by piece replacements, but now that I think about it I would prefer simpler (like aspire) if only because I have a three year old that gets into everything and I'm a SAHM, so he's with me constantly. So, suggestions, please.
Also, and this super dumb, I'm allergic to plastic, I get rashes on my hand anytime I touch plastic, so metal and glass is a must. After 7 months of rashes I figured out it was plastic. It's so stupid considering I have no other allergies whatsoever.
Sorry for the wall o' text.

Okay, so.... Now basically I need opinions on a good replacement. I like the idea of replaceable batteries, and I like the idea of it not being garbage because of a bad battery. I've resigned to the fact that my Zues will be a backup, but need to know what you love or hate about what you've tried. There's nothing beyond my grasp that I've read in all the options, it's just that there's SO MUCH to choose from. Nothing girly. Once I hear your opinions I can narrow down my research, and then decide what is best for me. Trust me, I went for V4L because it was simple and I was a beginner, but I won't buy anything I can't understand while researching. If I can't understand it in written form, wth do I expect in person? Seriously throw anything at me, I have until Christmas to decide and research.
