Hi,
I've narrowed it down to either a Spade mod or a big or little Chuck... I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions on both? Thanks!

The Spade only uses 10440 cells, so it won't last all day on a single cell (unlike those big-... 18650 Chuck monsters). :D You'll need to carry another one or two cells in your purse/handbag if you get the VP Spade.

That said, it is a beautiful PV, lovely to vape and the build, fit, finish and asthetics are absolutely wonderful...it's a classy little piece of kit. :)

i use a big chuck, so i can't compare with others. using 18650's @2600mah i can go 2 plus days on a single charge!! and never once had a battery go dead any quicker!!. it won't let ya down. it is about the size of a cigar, not a problem for me! i only use the 18650's @3.7v i cannot speak for useage at @ V.

I'm waiting on my big Chuck, I doubt I'll do any 6V vapeing. I don't want to change a battery every four hours so the spade wouldn't work for me.The Chucks are well made and will last.

don't you have to keep unscrewing the atty with a chuck to stop it firing on its own and burning out the atty when its being carried?

All the best
Andy

The chuck doesnt fire on its own, it's manual =]

I guess if its in your pocket and gets activated, perhaps then it might start burning the atty, but it shouldnt be a problem.

nope i don't unscrew atty, i just put it in a holster on my belt and it goes every where i go!!

Thanks for that so it's not really the device to just toss in a bag or pocket then you need a holster or carrier case unless you strip it down.

the reason i asked is because of the big sticky out radio shack type button i just wondered how people got on with these as I'm planning on making a fog log :)

Cheers Andy

The Chuck very well might not be the deviece of choice for all!! However it is what it is! and thats what sets it apart from all others! Even the creator of the Chuck "Mr Jeffakamax" has stated just backoff atty a 1/4 turn and it will not fire,so you do not have to take atty off the unit!!! good luck with the Andy Fog Log hope er happy wiff it!!
