Most open Deck 2 post are simple.

IGO-L is the intro piece............ with one major flaw. First Drill out that Pinhole they call an air hole to anything you can draw through. Then slap on a wick and coil.

Magma really is simple for a much more complex design.

Agree with this. The iGo-L is a great little atty once you drill out that airhole. Large deck to work with, nice deep drip cup, cheap as chips at around $10 for a genuine Youde.

Magma is another great atty for single or dual coils. Simple to build on as it pretty much makes you build the coil right over the air hole. There is also plenty of space to build as the deck is raised where you have to place the coil, so there is no reaching down into a drip cup. It also holds a decent amount of liquid and has a pretty decent airflow system that allows you to adjust for single or dual coils.

Only downside to the Magma is the amount of e-liquid that gets trapped between the air flow ring and the atty body. It can make it a little messy.

Tugboat v2 (v1 assumes double coil), and I thought the mutation v2 was surprisingly decent single-coil build too. All the engravings on the tugboat are busy as hell, but man am I becoming overly fond of it.

I agree with this... love my tug v2. Its my primary rda right now!

I understand that. Stupid veritas, tasting so good, preforming so well...

^^^^^^
I gotta second that; I consistently prefer the taste of my veritas over my magma; my theory is it's because of the plastic block in the middle of my 30mm version of the magma.

I don't use my igo-w3; 5 post deck; pain to build on.
I don't care for the deck that came with my bigdripper; less of a pain than the igo-w3, but similar problem.

The deck from the flash evapor is super simple to build on; I use it with my bigdripper.

I really don't care how easy a deck is to build on. That's not something I need to do every day. All I worry about is the vape experience the RDA provides.

I get that, but space and layout and how easy it is to get a good build, or even single coil, is something you do have to take into consideration when recommending one to someone starting out. :p Added the flash to the list to check out one day.
