An interesting idea. Are you sure there is a big enough margin in doing this? I'd be worried about the DOA atomisers and batteries. You would have to honour the warranties to your customers but would your suppliers honour a warranty to you.

That being said if you are good on prices there may be some merit in it. I suppose it wouldn't take a huge amount of capital to set up so it might be worth a gamble.

I'm with Trog on this. This is a GREED GONE MAD market, destined to see price wars and patent infringement lawsuits by early next year. If you're not already in the business, don't start. If you are, sell your business now!

And that doesn't even take into consideration that bans could surely hit liquid sales in a short time (WHO meets Nov. 12-14 and much depends on its recommendation on electronic smoking).

Right now, we don't need a NAPA for e-cigs.

I am thinking on wether i should open up a internet site which focuses directly on E-parts and liquid, i don't think anyone else does this in the UK. Its main aim is to supply e-parts for mainy different types of e-cigs at a very reasonable price.

what ya think? Just an idea at the mo

You obviously have your eyes closed and you are starting to become quite boring and childish and not acting responsible and keep using this forum to start your own business as self promotion purposes. Because what does pillbox and
e-cigs.co.uk sell? . They cover all what people need except for the branded products and you will find that the branded names would be not interested as they would not make the profit their self plus our main two UK suppliers are prepared for the future and are experienced how to deal with things .

and I feel your business head is to unexperienced regarding this business to deal with such important issues and there is no good reason for more new people flooding the market with the same products as you will not be able to beat prices in less you throw thousands of pounds at this enabling the units to be cheaper as most manufacturers prices are roughly the same plus this will make the future of electronic cigarettes harder for governments to accept with all the confusion of small-time traders starting up.

my advice is very negative in this one.. unless u have something very special the e-cig market is going to get very mean.. tooo many sellers screwing each other to death with the margins dropping all the time.. keep out..

I think you may also have a problem supplying generic parts as the part codes seem to vary from different traders/manufacturers.
How would your customers know that they were buying the right bits. Im sure they would rather buy them from the original place of purchase, unless they were quite well informed in which case they may well shop around.

As i said. It's just an idea at the mo....

I appreciate the criticism but ''you are starting to become quite boring and childish'' is quite an offending statement. I asked for your opinion on the idea, not ME. and ''not acting responsible'' I know you may be more experianced than I, but you don't have to undermine me.

I am breaking no rules.

Trog and Bob, have been of much greater use and they atleast show some respect. Thanks

freddo,i know exactly where youre coming from...i may be wrong, but i think youre desperately trying to come up with some way to differentiate yourself from other UK suppliers to give you some sort of an edge...

the problem is,the UK ecig internet sales market is pretty much wrapped up already...and there really isnt any way to be different, because its always the same generic products on offer for roughly the same price...and brands are brands....

so unless you can offer much better generic prices or new products...then im afraid its too late in the game to become a significant internet player mate...not to mention the hassle liquid suppliers are in for shortly...

These are the type of comments that really help me out. I wasn't going to irrationally open a super shop without consulting the pro's...obviously the market is wrapped up, but i thought that a shop that focuses on just parts may be a good idea, but i don't think it is going to happen. Thankyou for all your help. However, i did not think I myself was going to get abuse for a meer idea that i thought could help E-smokers out, and i think that that is unfair. I also think some people take this forum a bit to seriously!! but i spose in the long run it is for the greater good! Thanks darcy
