Hi !
Recently ordered an Istick 40 from fasttech (after hearing opinions here on ECF) but now the istick is in restocking status.
Searching for an alternative I've come across the KBOX 70W, has TC too, 4000 mah vs 2600 on the istick, and nicer look to me.
It seems to be pretty new and there's not much information about it, so I will ask you to share your opinions about that mod against the Istick.
The Kbox is $7 more, not a problem, and is in stock now.
It will be paired with a GS tank, I do MTL, so I don't think I will be using more than 30 watts for now, but is good to be future proof.
The doubt I have is if the TC Ni200 coils from the GS tank can be used in temp mode with the KBOX.
Anything you can say about that mod will be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know much about the Kbox 70W, but I do have the Kbox 50W and like it a lot. It takes one 18650 battery apposed to having 4,000 mah integrated battery. Right now I have a 1600 mah 18650 in there and it lasts over a day with regular vaping. I have a Subtank mini on it with the RBA deck with a .6 ohm coil on it. Plenty of vapor plenty of taste IMO. Dang good set up.

Hi and welcome. I don't have one, but Kanger is a good brand name. I feel certain you will be well served by it. Yes, it supports Ni wire in TC mode, and also Ti wire, which most people like better. Go ahead and pull the trigger on it. I'm sure you'll be happy with it as opposed to the iStick.

I have an iStick 40w. I would swap it for a Kanger Kbox 70w tomorrow if I could. :D

The 70w is irrelevant for my lower-power vaping but 4,000mAh would be a bonus.

If it's a TC mod it will do the Nickel coils for the GS tank. I don't use the Nickel coils in my GS because I think they don't actually work properly. I use the standard 1.2ohm 'pure cotton' Kanthal.

That's exactly what I think.
By the way, how much battery time do you get from the 2600mah on the Istick ?
I'll be using too the 1.2 kanthal at normal power.

I can't say. More than 1 day, as I charge it while watching TV at night. (up to 3ml @ 14 watts)
