After 2 weeks it's probably time to clean your atomizer. Soak it for a couple of hours in crest mouthwash, vodka or everclear, then rinse with hot water, blow thru the battery end to get out the extra water then either let it sit for 4-5 hours or put it in the oven at 150 for 20 minutes or so. Attys do fall off in performance over time or fail completely and cleaning helps less and less each time. It's a good idea to keep spare attys on hand.

That's good advice.

For my bad experience with the DSE901 and RN4075, look here:

My ECF Extension Blog Archive ::My bad experience with the DSE901

I don't clean atomizers for any ecig for at least a month or so--after the gunk shorts them out. Cleaning never helped much else over and above simply blowing out of the atty. I did stop using JC juice and that really helped. Keeping the atty wet at all times really helped.

Don't waste time trying to get good vapor out of an atomizer that has poor vapor out of the box. Either use it as is, return it, or throw it away.

Take a look here before ordering an RN4075:

A 901 with a 24mg juice should give you some throat hit and decent vapor, so I'm inclined to think you've just got some mediocre attys there. It happens. I have 11 attys and probably half of them are good, the other half are just so-so.

One thing I really noticed a difference with was putting a drop or two of liquid on the bridge of the atomizer whenever I top off my cart. That gives me a stronger flavor, more throat hit and I even think it helps with vapor production. I find using the manual (push button) batteries is better on the 901 too. It's a matter of personal preference, though.
