I bought a billow v3 and a royal hunter rda from my neighbor for $10. Just wanted to get your thoughts on them.

No experience with the billow.
The royal hunter is a decent atty, well machined, unique drip tip. Airflow is slightly restricted for my tastes. Good score at that price.

Think I'm gonna try building on the billow later today. Never used an RDA before so might just have to build it too

I tried Bilow V2. Ive heard V3 is a lot better than V2.

No experience with the Royal Hunter, but I have a Billow V2 and V3 that I really like. For that price, you did very well.
That's the important question - your opinion is the most important!

Still use my royal hunter, it was my very first dripper, simple to build on, easy to wick big coils, decient air flow, single coil option. $10 for that alone is a steal. Plus you got a billow on top of that. Bonus!!
Put the billow together today. All I can say is I scored big time and haven't even tried the hunter yet
I have the Billow 3 and it is an excellent tank. Last time I played with it I coiled it with SS tight 8 wraps 3.5 mm and wicked with rayon. Great clouds & taste. It has a big tank feel, very quiet & smooth. Similar to the Aromamizer.
Anything in decent shape for $10 is definitely a good deal as long as it is authentic in my opinion. First RDA I ever bought was a second hand Mad Hatter to try my hand at building.
Keep your wicks wet, and don't stick the RDA in your mouth without the cap...
Seriously, tho, if you can build, in many cases, an RDA will be a touch easier than an RTA. You don't have to worry as much about the wick keeping up with chain vaping because your hand controls the tank.
Don't be afraid to experiment. Different wire gauges, different coil configurations, varying amount of cotton, etc.. And with all the readily available pre-made spools of Clapton wire and coils with exotic twists and wraps, you can play around quite a bit for not a lot of money and with little effort.
Hard to go wrong with an RDA. I once coiled one of mine up with a V shaped upright coil, the idea being to stuff a small ball of cotton in the V making it super easy to pull the ball and replace it since it wasn't pulled through the coil but rather just sitting in it. It worked.
My personal and not so professional opinion on that is u can't go wrong for a vape set up for 10 bucks!
