Just picked up a royal hunter for $20 (had $20 off on my next purchase) has anyone had any experiences with this rda?

I've had one a while and I'm a big fan! Good build deck, good air flow for me, can be set up in single coil. I get good flavor and decent clouds. Mine currently has a parallel 28/30 ga and at 40 watts it's delicious! I love the spitback shield, but I like to pull top caps to drip anyway.

Just put in a dual 24g nichrome build with 9 wraps and it's reading .3 and so far so good! The metal does get a little hot though.

Does that have a pretty substantial centerpin-insulator that I see there?

it's got the grub screws requiring allen key to recoil.

non standard drip tip? incompatible with regular 510 tips?

It does put the splash guard in a good place though: on the drip tip

Mine came with an adapter for a 510 drip tip

Overall ive had good luck with mine, not very messy and build quality is exceptional. Space to build a fairly large dual coil setup.. I do not like the spit back grill tho, I get a ton of condensation on it. GL.
