Recently invested in a CE5 clearomizer and like it a lot except for wicking problems on my current preferred all-day vape (Tribeca).

The wicking process in this clearomizer appears to remove the thinner portion of the juice very quickly leaving behind the thicker portions of the juice. Not surprisingly, the thicker juice does not wick well at all and I need to top-up the unit prematurely.

I do want to keep the clearomizer rather than invest in a different type of unit. The juices I've been buying do not disclose the PG:VG ratios. Rather than burn cash experimenting with juices until I get lucky and find the right one, perhaps someone here can give guidance on target PG:VG ratios that (for them) work well in the CE5.

Many thanks,
Dan

I have wicking problems with clearos myself. I think the issue must be more the way I vape because I've tried them all and always have issues. And I vape fairly thin liquids. I think you can't take long, deep inhales with them. They just don't seem to work very well for me.

There are juices available from a local shop that work exceptionally well for me; tons of vapor, good TH, wick close to the bottom before I need to refill, and the only requirement is a controlled relatively slow draw.........but I don't care for their flavors (heavy sigh). Go figure, they won't disclose their ratios.

I'm sure if you contact Halo they'd tell you.

There have been several requests for that info on the Halo forum but they respond that it is proprietary information; I think, but not 100% sure, that they they also make a proprietary-formula statement on their website (too lazy to look it up and verify).

Thanks for the suggestion though -- that was very considerate of you.
