Okay, I've done a fair amount of homework so I'm fully aware that I can buy USP grade Propylene Glycol(PG) online from a number of sources, or have a local, preferably compounding pharmacy order it for me, or pick it up off-the-shelf at a local Tractor Supply.

What I want to know is whether there are any other known viable alternatives I may have missed for getting it locally, which would be my preference. In my case the Tractor Supply is a pretty good hike(I live in an outlying suburb, but evidently not far enough out in the sticks, lol) so probably not worth it, and I don't really see the benefit of having a pharmacy order it and going to pick it up versus ordering online and having it delivered to my door. I will resort to ordering online if I have to but I'd like to make sure I've exhausted all my local options first. With as many applications as this stuff has I'm surprised it's not more easily accessible.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

I spent months looking for a local source around here with nothing to show for it except online PG receipts.

LOL. Thanks Az, it was worth a shot. I figured there was a good reason I kept coming up empty in all my forum searches. Where'd you end up buying? I don't want a whole lot to start with, just a quart, or half-gallon at the most(I'm taking up too much space with all these supplies as it is). Best value I've found is Froggy's Fog USP grade on Amazon at $15/qt, but now I need to find another $10 worth of stuff I neither want nor need to qualify for the free shipping, lol.

I've gotten mine at the Tractor Supply.

Yeah, there are plenty of those around me to choose from, unfortunately the closest ones are about 20 miles away, and none of them in a direction I would normally drive. I drive the same distance to and from work, but they're all out of the way heading towards the boonies.

Online is your best bet, but hey, if you're desperate... 20 miles isn't much. Gas kinda sucks, but fill up a carto, crank up some tunes, and go someplace you don't normally go. Just enjoy the drive! Otherwise, yeah, buy some when you buy nic or flavors, pretty much every vendor has some. Ordering from a pharmacy just seems like too much of a hassle.

It was a local pharmacy here in Snowflake they ordered it in for me. I think I paid $20 for a quart. Probably cheaper online shipped.

Thanks BushM, was hoping you had found it on the shelf somewhere. Oh well, I only use it at 20% so I just buy a couple of 8oz bottles and they last me quite awhile.

When I saw you were in Snowflake my first thought was better you than me, I can't handle the wind blowing every day.

My second thought, I wondered how receptive they are of a vaper there.

Yeah, I'm seriously thinking about driving out to the Tractor Supply tomorrow. I would need to call them first though. It would seriously suck to get out there and find out they don't have any in stock.

I wonder what kind of reaction they would have if you asked for a sample and dripped a few drops right there.
