I own both and wouldn't trade my Lemo for an Orchid.

The Lemo wins in the flavor department and has the slight edge in air flow (Although they are close).

The Lemo is easier to build, easier to wick, and easier to fill.

^^^This. My Lemo has been flawless since day one. Inexpensive authentic, low maintenance, does exactly what it needs to do without any fuss. I even like the stock coil that it comes with. I almost want to buy a second one, but right now I'm sitting with a box full of old stuff that I have hard time justifying in front of the wife anyway.

Disclaimer: my Orchids and Lemos are all drilled out. :D

If we're talking any mod... I'd give the edge to my Orchid, but only with dual 24 ga at 0.33 ohm on a mech.

I don't abuse my iStick50 with the above build though, so comparing a dual 28 ga Orchid @ 1 ohm vs a Lemo 24 ga @ 1 ohm, both on the iStick50, I'd give a slight edge in flavor to the Orchid as well. The Lemo is definitely easier to build on though, but for me it gets gunked quicker.

I can't decide between the lemo v2 or the Goliath. Decisions decisions. Although the Goliath has a rumored v2 coming out, and I suspect the lemo2 to arrive first. I will probably go with the lemo, the top fill is a big selling point for me as I go through juice pretty quickly and will probably need to refill 2-4 times a day. Im also drawn to the simplicity of a single coil. I should also add that the ability to handle 50+ watts on my regulated Sig 100 plays a big factor too.

There's more to flavor production then the amount of coils.

Exactly, which is why I think the Orchid excels because of the extra details I didn't go into.... like the fact that in my builds, the Orchid only uses maybe 1/8th the amount of cotton that the Lemo requires in order to not vomit on your mod. Not having all that excess stagnant oil sitting in atmosphere like in a Lemo gives it a big advantage. Orchids pull directly from the tank on demand. :2c:

Oh, and a $2 Kayfun top fill cap removes any refill advantages the Lemo had. I built 4 Orchid V4's with top fill caps, $12 each. 4 complete tanks for < $50.

I have all these things on my Orchid v2. Kayfun tank, top fill cap, extended chimney. I'm also quite competent in building and wicking it.

Yet it continues to collect dust. Flavor is what I'm after, and my Lemo's win easily in that department for me. I'm glad the Orchid works well for you.
