I just ordered the Orchid Vapor x and it comes with the .08 mesh coil. Problem is its has temp control with SS coils and says that there are the .08 mesh and 1.3 SS316 coil. But I can't find the 1.3 anywhere!! So if anyone knows where I can get find that oh I would be so grateful. I'm a temp control vapor and basic wattage mode, I like both so I really would like to find these pods. I mean if they made them for the Orchid then where the hell are they? Lol

Sadly it's not uncommon to have difficulty finding things Ike different pods in stock for different systems when they have several options. I don't know how long ago that pod mod was released but if it's new, it may be a while before the SS version is ever released. I did see that Vaporrange does stock replacement pods but there is no option for different coil material, only color, which is sorta useless.

Patience for it to turn up is probably your best bet and periodic searches may help. You can also try Vapecrawler.com to aid in vape specific searches.

Yes its just crazy because if you look up the Orchid Vapor x pod kit, it says it offers both the .08 mesh and 1.3 SS316, but your right it is new so maybe the vape stores just haven't got them in stock yet. Thanks for the help. I'm going to check out vaporrange.

Where it says " kit contains" it does say the 0.8 ohm Kanthal only, so it's set up that you have to buy the 1.3 ohm SS separately. That happens with tanks that take drop in coils as well, they will list 5 different versions, but unless it's a popular tank and big manufacturer good luck finding them all.

Yup same thing. It is a mesh. I'm just lazy and call everything a coil.

Glad Vape Royalty had it. They're a good vendor to order from, I've only had positive experiences with them. And yes, released the beginning of May is brand new, so they did well to even have that out the door.

Oh good glad to hear that vape royalty is a good company this is my first time ordering from them. I have been vaping for 6 years and I get my juice from same place and it's crazy but my I'm still vaping with my favorite kangertech Subvod tank with the Mega TC battery. I have a cabinet full of all my vape tanks, mods, etc. But I always go right back to my kangertech lol

I'm waiting for the Orchid to be released, after three attempts, on May 24th here in Europe. The dealers only have the mesh coils, none has the higher resistance SS pods.
It is very common that some dealers do not stock all options, the most glaring example being the Z-Biip pods - which requires four different parts to make a full pod. Only two dealers here in the UK sells all four parts (pod body, airflow ring, coil and pod cap) - and I cannot understand the rationale.
Regarding pod and coils, many people buy mesh without knowing any deeper, just because it has become trendy.

In the vaping world, where volume of sales and speed of turnout are Kings, being part of any "minority" is a curse.

Thankfully, there are some dealers which stock items with consideration for all the possible spectrum of customers, and have as much options as possible, selling those items / e-liquids until they are in production.

Many of us vapers are former long-term smokers, who kept loyal for decades to a given brand or type of smokes and accessories.

Reviving old habits into a newer world is a prized possibility, and I reward with my custom those dealers that allows me to keep a tradition or habit with vaping, from gear to e-liquids.

Back to the Orchid pods... I hope when the new device will be available here in the EU, some dealers will stock all pod options, two resistances in two colors. If not, I will have to order the SS pods from China, with associated disvantages of slow delivery and hard-to-claim warranty.

Wow. Here in US they only have the mesh but I just found the SS so can you order from here in the US?

As an aside on the Biip, the airflow control ring is meant to be reused, not replaced unless you break it. So you only need extra pods for different flavors, and of course the coil itself which you replace whenever you need to. So really only 1 absolute consumable, the coils, and a maybe for when you want a different flavor, the top pod. Right now only a 2 ml pod is offered but the plan for release in the US (no idea what UK regs will do) a 4 ml pod as an option as well. Nice way to expand customization for your particular preference.

I have ordered from US at times, but the shipping costs are much higher than if shipped from Far East. For low cost items, it is not practical.

Regarding the Z-Biip, I had to order the complete pods because I don't refill while on the move usually, and I use two different e-liquids.
Innokin considered pod items as replacement parts rather additional accessories.

With the other pod system I use, the Nautilus AIO, the additional pods come complete of everything. The Z-Biip complete pod is more expensive than the AIO, but so is the overall quality of the device.

Oh, two fully assembled then yeah, you'll need an extra airflow thingy. They're new in the US market as well and didn't even realize you could buy the airflow ring unless as a replacement/repair piece separately. But if that's how you travel it's a clever method of piecing it together.

It is a more complex setup than say the EQ pod of theirs I also use and like, but it's sort of a different animal than a pod alone and more AIO in size and function.
