I prefer both actually. Being able to buy and try in a store is convenient since I can actually try the flavors. However, in my limited vaping experience, I like about 1/6th of the juices I buy instore (the testers most places use are very muted and I dont get the full test until I do a build at home). BUT, i like about 1/15th of the juices I buy online, and honestly most of that is because of nicoticket. Where from LA are you? I live in downtown

You guys must have alot better stores than I have here. There's only two places in town that sell anything to do with vaping and its limited to just a small section of the store. They only have one brand of juice that offers your standard single flavor mixes. Poor quality and overpriced. I probably would have went back to smoking if all I had was what I could get locally. I googled top ten usa made ejuice a few days into vaping and ordered something from the top five.sample packs if they offered them, and lucky for me I found this forum early on which gave me plenty of quality juice options online. I mostly make my own now but I still go back to some of my online favorites from time to time

I'm lucky. Vaping has really taken off in the last month around here. We have 3 dedicated vape stores. They are all in competition - so the juice is really good, they have hundreds of standard recipes as well as store-specific flavors, for around $15 per 20mL. Plus all kinds of tanks, batteries, etc - and either a bar-like atmosphere, or a relaxed living room feel. Cable bigscreen and all. It's well worth it to me to spend the gas to just hang out and vape.

I know what you're talking about. We have a couple of gas stations and news stands with vaping stuff, and most of it is terrible garbage. The juice is cheap, though. $4 - 5 per 10mL of the pre-mixed swill. Vanilla and coffee are usually okay.

Mostly online.
I have two shops in town, a new one which sells pre-mixed 10mls for 10$+, but has not terrible prices on hardware, and a selection of RDA/RTAs I might buy a mod from them.
The other one has been around for awhile, mixes their own juices 2x 30mls for 20$ and their single fruit or soda flavors are alright, but their tobaccos are unvapable and no bakery flavors at all, but terrible prices/selection on hardware other than protank coils (5x10$).
So I order better stuff online at a better price, but get store #2s root beer juice every now and again.

Stores around here want $10-$25 for 10-15 milliliters, which I think is ridiculous, ill buy it online for now, really wish I knew how to make my own

Spend some time reading in the DIY section of forum and you can be making your own within a few days. DIY isnt hard at all, just take the time to educate yourself some before getting started. Make sure not to skip over safety on handling nicotine solutions. You can do it!!

I perfer to make my own juice. I make it exactly like I like it and as much as my husband and I vape, it saves me a TON of money!! We both go through about 10 ml a day. So that's two small bottles.making my own juice was the best thing I've done as far as saving money! And it's good too. I've learned to blend and mix flavors and can make almost anything! It's fun too. And when I get a craving, it's right there!! So I'm making my own. I know exactly what's in my juices. But before I made my juice I bought online juice. Hope this answers your questions. :)

I'm disabled and live in a rural area so I do almost all of my shopping on line. When I started I was able to get small or sample sizes at a reasonable price from many internet sellers. I can see, though, that if you have a B&M that you can get to easily it might be nice to be able to try a flavor before buying it.

I feel the same way about crazy in store prices. The guys in my local store are great and I enjoy going down there to try out the new flavors but it does get expensive. I actually made an order today for the materials to create my own juices. Can't wait for the stuff to get here so I can start trying new flavors. The materials are really reasonably priced and there are tons of videos(youtube) and recipes on these forums or so I hear :)
