I've only been vaping for two weeks.
Maybe my taste buds are "developing"?
2 weeks, and have you just quit smoking as well? If so, yeah. You're going to be battling your tongue and palate for a while. Don't let it get to you. I'm only now starting to win the battle (3 months cigarette free after 23 years).
A few things to keep in mind:
Your tastes will evolve over the next few months. Not just for vaping, but with food and drink as well. Things you found bland, or gross might start appealing to you as you'll discover they actually taste good!

On the flip side, some things you like right now may not be so appealing in 2-4 months. Suddenly, they'll seem too sweet, or too salty or you'll detect a flavor you never noticed before that puts you off. This also applies to e-juice, so don't go ordering quarts of anything because it's awesome tasting just yet.

(And don't give up on flavors you don't find appealing. Just file it away and try it a few weeks later, rinse, repeat)
You're going to have multiple fits with "vaper's tongue." What happens is your taste buds seem to just shut down completely, and everything tastes awful (or has no taste at all). This is pretty common amongst new vaper's and especially newly ex-smokers. It'll happen less and less over time. You just have to be patient when it hits you and ride it out. But there are a few things you can do to lessen its effect:
- Practice excellent oral hygiene. Use a tongue scraper and brush your tongue (you should be doing this anyway, but I'm often surprised how many people don't). Lightly brush your gums and the roof of your mouth too.
- Stay very well hydrated.
- Switch up on your flavors often - if you can rotate between 3-4 different flavors DAILY, it helps. And by different, I mean
different. Not 4 different tobaccos. But maybe a tobacco, a couple fruits, a sweet vape like vanilla or chocolate or some pastry. You can use one more than the others if you have a favorite, but keep your taste buds guessing.
- Some people can "wake up" their taste buds by rinsing and gargling with lime juice or an alcohol free mouth wash. Some swear by taking a teaspoon of Frank's Hot Sauce.
- If you're eating heavy foods, and/or drinking overly sweet or a lot of alcoholic drinks, you're going to wear out your taste buds for a while.
- When all else fails, and it seems like vaping just isn't going to taste right no matter what you try, now is the time to vape something you don't normally like.

That juice you don't care for? If you can't taste it, or everything is going to taste poor, might as well get your money's worth.

That or... have a few menthol juices on hand. Even when you can't taste a thing, you can taste menthol.

(And sometimes, using menthol or cloves for a short period wakes up my tongue)
After a few months, those attacks will become farther and fewer between. Knowing about it ahead of time makes it a tad less frustrating.
And lastly...
Simple fact of life: we ALL perceive tastes differently. It might be a juice 99% of us rave about. You're not crazy if you don't like it. You just have different tastes.
(And some juices need to steep. RY4s and tobaccos are notorious for that)
