Hey all, last night I ordered the 2 LR 306 and drip tip deal from Avid Vaper for $19.99. These are the "cisco" specd bad boys (and the legit version I've read). Let's see what all this hypes about :p

I've recently ordered 2 306 LRs from madvapes. One is "ok" and one is awesome! I've also been lovin the LR 1.7 510s from MV...so I want to see how the cisco LR 306 compares ;)

Anyone use them on an old goat bottom feeder by chance? If so, what are your thoughts compared to non cisco specd 306s...and LR 510s as well.

Thank you!!

I didn't have to buy into the hype - someone sent me one! And imo, it's the best LR atty for dripping. I've had the joye LRs and others from 1.5 to 2.0 in 510, the removed bridge ones and also Joye 306 lr. I had one last three months and am working on another for a month now - still going strong. I've had others go out in the first vaping session and some boges that were good but only lasted 5 days to a week tops. I did get some cartridges to try and discarded them after a few tries. This is good for around the house but I don't want to drip when out - so I have eGo-ts for that.

The best drip tip - didn't like the looks of it at first but it really stops the heat well with the collar:

Alrighty then...just ordered two clear cannon tips from cherry vape! All is good!

Great! I should say that at first I didn't like the odd collar but that is the best part of the heat dissipation - all other drip tips I've tried with the cisco LR simply gets too hot. I had lost the cannon for a while and was so happy when I found it! I originally got it from COV who no longer carries it - so I thought I was out of luck until I got hooked up with cherryvapes via epipemods.com

just ordered my first cannon(the clear cause i like to see my juice and vapor) and cant wait to get it. the reason i picked the bad boy up was becuase ive had major trouble with other drip tips cracking even nhaler twisted ones that looked thicker. i think the fat band at the base might just save me yet lol.

I had the same problem with all others - metal is the worst. But even the ones that looked thicker didn't do the job like this one. Report back when you get it.

Just remember to also try a regular 306 drip tip. You will have a much different vape w/the Cannon. Lot of people like them and then alot like myself do not like them. For me, the shorter the better, it warmer and more flavorful IMO. I have been accused of liking flame throwers. But really, I don't get the taste, vape and heat that I like w/a Cannon.

That's interesting...will do!

My Cisco 306s landed today, should have them in the mail soon :p Wooohoo! I haven't received any shipping confirmation on the cannons yet, though. So looks like I'll be banging on these for a while with the standard 306 tip.

You will love the Cisco LR306's. It's hard to go back to anything else after you "go there."

Oddly I happen to be waiting on an Old Goat bottom feeder right now, and intend to jack it up immediately with an LR306. So do update this thread as to how you like the combination.

For drip tips, I've been extremely happy with the Delrin contoured tips I get from Avid. Been using the same (black) one forever. Keeps its shape perfectly snug around the 306, doesn't get hot or warp. I've never tried any others as this one is so perfect (though I have some extras in reserve, it seems I'll never need to break them out).

Will do...the old goat mod is holding up real nice! I've even dropped it a few times. I've been messing with a LR 306 (and tip) from MadVapes, it's "ok" but I actually am getting a better experience out of the MadVapes LR 510s. So I am super excited to try the Cisco LR306!!

That's my favorite DT - the one from Avid. I've had a couple others and they aren't as nice. Cisco has these made just for his attys, perfect fit so why go elsewhere. Cisco rocks

Perez-uzza to this day
I've been using one for probably about a week on a Madvapes Mini VapeStack - its easily the best vapor I've had on a 3.7 volt device. But going all psycho-killer on the juice like that really hurts the flavor imo. The one I'm using is 1.5 ohm, I ordered a 2.0 ohm too, to compare, but haven't got round to it yet...maybe the flavor will be better.

I normally use a KR808D-1 on a Buzz, good combination of flavor and vapor for me, but I'm cutting nic so sometimes by the end of the day I've got a craving and I can't just constantly hit the KR heavy for a long time to make up for the lower nic (could burn the KR). Enter the Cisco, I can spontaneously drip whatever I want in there w/o worrying much and vape it hard.

I have a few juices that don't play well with cartomizers - flavor too strong for me (some cinnamons, menthols, or both mixed), or too dark or thick (tend to clog up cartos). The Cisco really turns these juices into superstars.

The Cannon tip looks nice. Out of stock now though...*sigh*

Ok all...So I've used one for about a day and a half. It took mine about a day of vaping to break in...and let me just say, YES, I GET IT. When I first slapped it on, it was nothing to write home about. After the break in period...forget about it, its insane.

The cisco LR 306 hits VERY hard. The difference between a cisco LR 306 and a no-name brand 306 is like using a sledgehammer vs a hand hammer. You can really feel its umph. I like it. Between this and my LR 510 (my LR 510 is from MadVapes and rocks)...I can't see how vaping could get any better.

As far as how it works on my old goat 3.7v bottom feeder...without a hitch. It bottom feeds nice, and hits hard, very warm vapor, and obviously, big plumes. Flavor seems to be the same to me at the moment, but will need more time to compare to standard attys. The cisco 306 drip tip I got with it rocks too. Goes on well, and doesn't leak, is longer than the 306 tip I got from MV, and feels strong. One of the greatest things in the world about my old goat is that is has a drip well. So I can flood the living heck out of my atomizers, and it doesn't matter...it all leaks into the drip well, and gets pulled back into the atty when I draw. I will never buy or build another mod without a drip well (the small external catch cup at the base of the atomizer for those wondering).

Anyways, if anyone is interested in the Cisco LR 306 and haven't tried, get them from Avid Vaper.

This is a newbie question, but would one of these work on a Joye eGo? That's the only PV I have right now and I have an LR306 someone gave me but I want to get more as I know they don't last forever. Are they all threaded the same? The Avid website says not to use them on a standard sized e-cig battery and I'm not sure what the eGo has in it.

Bedhead, the 306 WILL thread perfectly onto your eGo. And you may even get it to perform well, at least for a while. However, over some time, you'll find your battery life will decrease. Remedy: buy more batteries, or invest in a small 14500 (3.7 volt) mod.

I'd say you should try it out! It makes converts out of most people pretty quickly. Be sure and "prime" the atomizer first....several drops onto it, wait a bit, then a couple more...let it soak in for a minute, then fire 'er up!
