Well I've joined all you P+ owners. I wanted a mod that is easily pocketed and aesthetically pleasing with a carto tank connected. I didn't want to spend so much but in the end nothing else was comparable that met my criteria. Now comes the dreaded wait before I get my new prize.

Congrats! :toast:

The wait is not too bad and is definitely worth the prize!!! :thumb:

I hate waiting, lol, in the meantime I need to find a LR carto that I like. I went from ego to vv and so I'm not sure what carto hits best at 3.7. I ordered some Boge 2.0. Although I hear everyone rave about the Smoktech 1.7's. I used to use the 1.5 Smoktech DC on the ego (weak at 3.4 but probably ok at 3.7) but I'm trying to stay with a 1" tank for compactness.

IKVs don't have quite enough punch for me. Since you seem to be testing out a bunch of different cartos, try out some 1.25Ω DCs from COV. Those definitely have the hardest hit, but they do burn up pretty quickly. I've been using those exclusively for the past few months, but that will likely change once the Kick is out.

Pretty soon I will have tried every carto in every resistance made, lol, just ordered a few Kangers and IKV's to try. Smoktech 1.7's seem to be alluding me right now, couldn't find them in stock at any of my normal stores.
310vapers.com has some 1.5 smoktech cartos for a reasonable price and there in Cali so you wouldn't have to wait long..

Welcome FriedLiver! Good choice on the 18350, it'll fit your need for a small pocketable mod! Throw a carto or tank on there and you are good to go!

The IKV clear 1.6Ω SC/ is a SmokTech carto made to Ikenvapes specs. It is my favorite carto for 3.7V. However, I've never been a fan of the clear tubing, so I remove it and use metal tubing I've cut to the length I want.

And welcome to the Precise family. The 2 week wait is nothing. My first Precise was a 2 month wait, but still well worth it. Be warned though, you'll want to get another one (or more). I just ordered a P+18650 to add to my p10, p16, p+10, p+35, and p+50.

I stirred away from the clear IKV because of the plastic, not sure how well I would punch a hole in it to use in a carto tank. And rebuilding it like you suggest seems like more work than I would be willing to do. The IKV carto that I ordered to try is one of the horizontal coils.

I doubt I will be tempted into a larger battery P+ merely because for a larger battery device I would insist on VV. The wattage hack device that goes into the battery compartment just doesn't cut it. If they integrated the kick/darwin type circuitry into a P+ that would be a seriously tempting device. 5v may also be tempting, since from my testing of cartos on my VV IPro I find that many cartos run their absolute best right around 5v.
