I smoked 2 PAD for 40 years. I have been using the Riva 1100 for the last 5 months but still having the urge to smoke 3-4 cigs a day. I decided to go to the ProVari to get off completely. The Riva starts to fade out fast, but according to all the info I have seen on this site, that won't happen with the ProVari. I thought I had a long wait to get it, but it shipped next day! I ordered the main unit, three batts, and the charger for a couple of bucks less than the starter kit.

I have seen some post advising people to super glue the display screen screws, and to secure the small black pc board inside the housing with adhesive. Is this really nec.??

I have seen only a post or two about both those issues (screws & pc mount) but I don't consider them an issue at all. If you are hard on your Provari then perhaps your concern may be warranted.

It's not necessary.. Just a suggestion, if you're still smoking 3-4 cigs a day, your e-liquid probably isn't strong enough.. what are you using?

Edit - n/m, I see you've been down that road.. I guess it's probably just having smoked for 40 years.. :) Hang in there, you'll get off 'em soon enough.. Provari is a great step.. ! I also found that vaping all the time helped with the analogs.. I stopped trying to vape at my normal smoke times a long time ago.. now I just vape 3-4 hits every 10 minutes or so.. vaping doesn't have to be the same thing as smoking.
