Ordering retail direct from China Pros and Cons? & Kudos to Void Mist

I would like to hear from some folks who have experiences ordering retail direct from China. I want the good the bad and the ugly. pros and cons.

This time of year a lot of e-cig vendors in the U.S and I assume the U.K. too are low on product from the holiday rush. Vendors in China are effected too but less so because China is where most e-cig stuff is made. vendors in China such as MicroCig and HealthCabin have great prices. HealthCabin even offers free shipping on orders above 250 U.S. dollars. At those cheap prices, I could get a year worth of supplies and have it delivered to my door for free.

But I could be wrong too. Is it worth the shipping if you don't buy a lot? Does the product take forever to arrive? Has anyone gotten burned by these vendors? In the U.S there is a general fear that if you order from China you can get taken for a ride because they largely self regulate themselves. What's the Pros and Cons you guys have run into?

Big Kudos goes out to the lady who runs Void Mist. I had a problem with her CC processor and she fixed it for me within 2 hours of my email. This isn't the first time I have had trouble ordering from Void Mist and she (I forget her name) fixed the problem right away both times. This gal has great products, awesome customer service and is one of the nicest you'll meet in the business IMO. I just cannot say enough nice things about the lady who runs Void Mist.

I ordered 3 times from health cabin with ems shipping 2 orders took about a week , one order was held in customs for 10 days and took a while to arrive. everything was packed well no damage.
If shipped china air mail you may run into a long wait from what i have been told.

i always wait until i have a big order, health cabin always shipped me ems for free on 250$ order
If you dont mind the wait you can save $$$

I just got an order from health cabin and it took about 2 weeks, I order from greenhouseone.com all the time and it takes about 2 weeks to ship just be prepared to wait a few weeks, I always go for the cheaper shipping and buy a lot of stuff when I order

I have an order sitting in customs now. It shipped on the 19th. It's been in the US waiting to get through since the 23rd. I personally, think the prices are worth the wait. This is my first order from HealthCabin. I've ordered from Heaven gifts before, and had no trouble with them either. The longest order I had got stuck in customs, and took 2 1/2 weeks from the time it was shipped to arrive on my doorstep.

And yes, VM is one of my 'go to' vendors! Luv their nic $ales...

I ordered stuff every now and then from HC too. Can be really slow in delivery sometimes if you use the cheapest delivery options. Love the great prices and they are very responsive to customers' enquiries. Good experience so far.

I like to keep my money in the USA, even though so many products are made in China, at least US vendors live in the USA, and I don't mind paying a bit more for it .. I also find that some on line shopping and the help of ECF can garner prices close to the Chinese .. sometimes, even less ..

I have to reiterate the kudos for health cabin. Since I ordered $250 worth of stuff I got the free "faster" shipping. I was surprised when the order arrived nine days later, especially since the Christmas holiday was part of that nine days. Everything I ordered was there and was well-acked and labeled. Same stuff you'd get from the US suppliers just a lot cheaper. I also got some of the Chinese brand juices and am pleasantly surprised.

I've ordered from Health Cabin twice before and the orders arrived within 2 weeks with EMS. I just placed my third order on December 19th, and it was delivered on December 24th. I figured I wouldn't see the order until some time in January, so I was really shocked to get the package so fast.

ordered twice from healthcabin and no issues. interesting that folks had customs problems. maybe i just got lucky. the wait and shipping are a pain, but the prices are a strong incentive.

I've ordered from Heaven Gifts twice over the last two years, with not a single problem.
Both times I selected the slowest shipping option and still got my order in less than two weeks.

Who here can comment on the quality of the LR 510 atomizers from Microcig? At < $2 a pop it seems worth the wait. Does anyone know if they use laquer on their SS attys as this peals off in my tank mod.

blackwater, you might want to check out the Boges offered by Health Cabin. SR and LR in stainless steel, which won't have peeling problems.

Hi and thanks for the tip.
All I'm seeing there are joyes for $4-6 a pop. I'm really looking to hear peoples experiences with Microcig attys unless health cabin has attys that are around $2. MOQ at Microcig is only 25 as apprised to the others that are around 200-300.
