Ordering tonight - need your opinions (mod selection)

Okay, y'all - I'm buying my first mod tonight and I'm still torn between and rba and an rda. I like both styles, but there's both pros and cons. So here's the low down;
Le Petit Gros with a Hobo V2
or
4Nine with an Orchid V3

Things to know; The first one is ONLY 18350. The second one, I have no clue how an RBA tank works. So for a beginner like me, what would you suggest?

Between the 2 and given that you haven't built coils I would say the Orchid with the 49.

I just got the Kanger Subtank and really like it. It comes with 2 decks, one for prebuilt coil which you can buy at .50 ohms or 1.2 and the other deck for rebuilding. It comes with two coils one at .50 and the other at 1.2. The deck for rebuilding also has a dual coil build and a couple of extra prebuilt coils. If I was just starting out this is what I would buy.

Both of those mods use a hybrid adapter. So the atty is in direct contact with the battery. Perhaps not the best first mechanicals.

Maybe consider a Stingray X. It has a hybrid connector and top cap. You could use the top cap until you are more confident about your builds, then switch to the hybrid adapter.
