I'd like to know how they

"violated Oregon’s Unlawful Trade Practices Act."

I've got no problem with them banning Smoking Everywhere in particular, their products are trash.

Their product's quality aside...that makes me a quite bit uneasy. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come.

I guess it also must not be evident that without the burning of tobacco there is no tar and no carbon monoxide....but there is no evidence to prove that ecigs are safer than regular cigs...hmmm... inhaling carbon monoxide or NOT which one sounds safer?

Actually they sell a very decent quality product, just at a grossly overinflated
price. maybe that's how they violated the fair trade laws?

I think it's more of a "truth in advertising" issue. Smoking Everywhere does promote the "safer alternative" phrase and while most of us know they are infinitely safer, Smoking Everywhere (for whatever reason) either decided not to provide proof or didn't have proof [at the level required by Oregon] to submit.

I believe residents of Oregon should raise hell though.

Hmm...figures. Vendors keep an eye out, watch yourselves or we may not be able to buy from you. Of course I still will....even if I have to cart my supplies across a border with donkeys or something, I'm NEVER giving up vaping.

It just go to show you how detached our public officials are to reality! I hope Obama tries e-ciggs and likes them maybe then we would gain some public acceptance. All of my family are non-smokers but have totally accepted me vaping around them and are very glad I quit smoking. It has been one year now after 50 years of off and on smoking. I think once the medical community begin to see the remarkable health improvement of us older smokers they will begin to take a positive stand for vaping. I'm just glad I quit before I had to go on Oxygen like my brother and other friends.

This reminds me of an episode of "Mall Cops: Mall of America" that I watched where a guy had to call security because they were scammed by one of the Smoking Everywhere stands. I wonder if that contributed to this haha
