I always read PG's 'an organic compound" and don't know if that means it's organic like an organic plant grown clean. I think PG always/usually comes from coal anyway and can't be made organically, but not sure.
If it makes sense, I hope to DIY with Organic PG and VG.
I did a search but didn't find much about this.

I googled "organic vegetable glycerin usp" and found:
5 oz Organic Vegetable Glycerin USP 99 5 Soy Derived Glycerites Skin Care | eBay
^ soy-derived, so I'd probably be better off with non-organic derived from palm or something besides soy which is controversial to consume especially for a guy.

This came up in the search but isn't even organic, but it's at least non-GMO:

This seems to be only for large commercial supplies, no price given, asks for annual requirement, but seems to be organic VG USP.
Organic Vegetable Glycerin (USP) - Natural Sourcing, LLC

This thread is sort of OT, but might help. If i read it correctly, the reply means that organic flavorings have no benefit over non-organic? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...why-we-put-not-organic-flavor-diy-liquid.html

Both PG and VG contain carbon molecules, therefore all PG and VG are organic.
The buzz word "ORGANIC" only means that it has carbon. Yack Urine is 100% natural and completely Organic, wanna glass???

Really it depends on the purity. Wallmart sells VG that is 99.5% pure, Wizard Labs sells 99.7% pure, Essential Depot does not list there purity. GMO/Non-GMO we are talking about a nearly pure substance (try to find any 100% pure substance).

I despise the fact that we can not avoid GMO foods, they are destroying the very fabric of humanity (not only on the economic level, also the genetic level) but, I highly doubt it has any effect on such highly refined products as PG and VG.

Anything listed USP should be safe for vaping, personally I prefer the WL over the Wallmart, it actually tastes cleaner IMO, but a-lot of people are happy with the Wallmart.

Meh, I've come to recently believe that organic is just something of a buzzword used to justify higher production costs. If I'm talking produce, I'm more concerned if it's GMO or not. I could care less if the pesticides and fertilizer used in production is organic a lot, because there have been studies that show a number of the newer non organic methods used carry less contaminants than old fashioned methods. There's also no lack of nutrients or flavor in non-organic produced food. So as long as it's GMO-free, I say go for it. Also, the soybean hormone myth has been debunked numerous times, so anyone saying it's controversial for a guy to consume soy-based proteins and products is simply misinformed.

The only PG or VG you should be vaping is pharmaceutical grade

pharmaceutical grade VG is most often synthetic-

Glycerine should only be inhaled in pharma grade, which is often synthetic. The use of the term VG to describe the glycerine we use for inhalation is probably obsolete now, and stems from the early days of e-cigarette use when there was little use of Glycerine USP and DIYers had a choice between vegetable-source glycerine and animal-source glycerine [1]. Pharma grade glycerine for inhalation - the only type that should be used - is frequently synthetic [2] and therefore absolutely pure, so its origin is irrelevant.
