Well it's not quite organized yet, but I got almost everything moved. I really need some proper stands, and bleacher stands. It can now be used though.

I think I am going to put that off for a while, it took me like 5 months to build the whole thing, I want to start trying to make some juice! I might just order one, or three of those clear plastic ones, I have seen posted, for nail polish. But we will see, I might change my mind tomorrow.

I just finished putting the shelf back boards on, and as soon as I did, I emptied all my wizard lab box's, there is more I was going to do but I think for now it is good enough. I don't need a lock there are no kids around, I will work on setting it up more tomorrow.
Looks great kas!!! You do great work![]()
I need a lock cause there are small toddlers running in & out my house & my mom has Alzheimers'.
Stormy, there's a few folks in this thread who'd like to talk to you about their Christmas list. #ImInnocent
Actually I posted your pic over there cause someone wanted to know if their stash was normal.
My stash looks pretty bleak right now...we just had our monthly juice making party. About 10 of us get together and make our fav juices for ourselves, family and friends, then we experiment with new recipes we want to try, Hence all the steeping bottles on the shelf, We let them steep for a month then we test them at the next party. We have a day of making juice building coils, trying new set-ups, and since we are all girly girls, we go get pedicures afterward!

Thanks I was trying to make it perfect, but the finish has flaws in various spots, I had to strip the work table's finish off once, and redo it. The top shelf alone, took me 6 weeks to get the finish right, but I think the oak detail turned out nice.

Southern Yellow Pine is a serious blotcher & pretty difficult to finish cleanly without a bag full of tricks. Other than those spots, it's a very smooth stain job. Looks good.

I'm so jealous, that sounds like a great time!!! The only other vapers I know are the people next door (my daughter and her boyfriend) an neither one have any interest in coil building, mixing etc. My daughter does have two favorites that I make and just comes over and gives me her empty bottles when she is getting low....

We truly have a blast! Wish you were closer, you would love it.
And honestly, if I weren't a woodworker by trade, I'd probably not noticed some of the blotches. Sorry, it's a habit. But seriously, they're pretty minor compared to what the vast majority of people would've done.
Some of the surface's, took 12 coats, of poly to get smooth, and the last surface, the face of the top shelf with the oak in it, took 16 coats, to get it smooth, that was a lot of coating and sanding.

Lol. Hate to tell you, but that ain't nuttin. Some projects are easier than others but I'd guess, on average, that 3/4's of my time on every project is spent finishing. Not including the dry/cure times, just the actual working time. I can spend 2 months getting a project out the door that I cut & assembled or turned in an hour or two.
Woodworking - patience = kindling.
Well I know what it's like now, and I found out how hard the finishing was, to get it right on this one. If I do another Project, I would buy premium lumber, rather then using left over lumber, from construction sites, that is what I used on this one.
